Ok so like many others I had a very BAD experience here. For those of you whom dont want to read the whole review, in short rude employee's, uncoordinated system, a lot of other problems, and yes rude employee's! If I could rate below one star I would!! I went on the website and there is a specific box to click to shop ONLY items that they have in-store. Obviously I clicked this box as my washer and dryer both need replacement asap. Thanks to my kids. I find a "nice" set on sale in stock great! Drive the almost hour to get there and she says no we don't carry that, it's online only. If you a are willing to spend just a little bit more I can have you walk out of here today with a "much better set". I ask how much is a little bit more? She answers just $150.00/machine! Seriously! In who's world is that just a little bit more? Your saying $300 is just a little bit more... Im glad your job pays so well, and your kids don't use all your money! Who knew the home depot paid so well! So I politely decline and tell her I want the set I originally came to the store for. How long would it take to get that? She said she could have it for me by Tuesday. Ok not too bad.... guess I have very little choice in the matter. (Also before ordering online I did go and check at Lowe's. They had a sale model however it was a make I had not ever heard of) So I have her order the set. With much attitude she begins the process. Now I am getting automated calls from the delivery robot stating that my product was originally scheduled to be in three weeks ago. But due to circumstances beyond their control it won't be shipped until two weeks ago! ...WHAT? And I get atleast 8-12 of these calls daily!! Anyway so the lady ordering this... she says if I order today I can have it to you by Tuesday. So yeah go ahead. She gets done doing whatever she's doing there's like a whole bunch of questions on the computer and she simply answered how she felt she should because she certainly didn't ask me anything. So she gets done and says ok they will drop it off for installation on Friday. Umm no! I told you I need them asap! I thought you said they would ship to the store? Oh she says you want to pick it up here? Well then I can have it here Thursday. What the he'll happened to Tuesday? So now who knows when I will actually be able to get them. As of now we have just passed the originally agreed upon Tuesday so I have no idea how much longer I will have to wait for them. Or the bigger question is how many more times to I need to speak with Mr. Robot telling me that my things should've been here before I even ordered them. She gave me a total and I asked does that include the protection plan on both machines? She goes ugh Oh you want that!?! Really! yes and you would know that if you had bothered to ask, thank you! Oh and while I was waiting for her to imput whatever info that she had onto the computer, a little old lady happened by on a rascal and asked how she could get the identical color paint for the cabinets as the ones displayed near this woman's desk. The woman answers how do I know. There ain't no way for me to tell. And sucked her teeth at the old lady. The old lady just muttered thats too bad and how she really wanted to paint her cabinets that color. Wished she could've gotten the answer to exactly what color the ones in the store were. Just waiting on my washer and dryer. No questions I WILL NOT be going back to this store after that. I have not liked this store for a #of years but never had an experience so bad to keep me out. Just prefer to shop Lowe's but will do hd if I had to. Nope! Not anymore! Just waiting on my stuff and I'm gone! I would cancel but they would probably hit me with a cancellation fee and a restocking fee, bunch of bs! Would NOT recommend this...
Read moreI cannot put into words about how mad I am about the Panama City store. We recently purchased a 300$ rug from HOME DEPOT and we ended up taking it back bc of the color, never used , never opened, we took it back with in a 24 hr time frame of purchase, the first issue is they would only give me 249$ for the rug and paid almost 320 after taxes, side note, my husband's company took him and 4 other employees to home Depot and told them to each spend 1000$ in appreciation for an outstanding job they have done on a huge project at work, we did not get to keep the receipt for items purchased bc they needed the receipt for tax purposes for their company, So I returned with no receipt, for store credit only, which was fine I just wanted to exchange for a different rug. So even though there was no price change on the item, they only gave me credit for the Lowest price in their system, meaning at one point this item was on sale, even though it could have been a year ago, they would only give me credit for the lowest price it was ever sold at, whatever, my husband and I return the rug together he handed the associate his ID for store credit, BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!! We ended up not finding another rug so we purchased a few items we needed and planned on using the remainder for things we might need in the future, I have since been to HomeDepot 3 separate time and was allowed to use the store credit card that was issued in my Husband's name bc I could provide his information. Today, I go to get a few things we seriously needed and tried to use the credit and was told no I wasn't allowed, my husband would have to be present, I could provide every receipt received from this store credit, including the actual return receipt I received from returning the rug. I asked to speak to management, she came over and told me absolutely not, I would not be allowed to use this store credit, WHAT???? I told her I can give every piece of info needed about my husband to prove this credit was his, SS# Birthdate, ID # , hell his Fico score if I needed to, but was still denied use of my store credit!!! This is absolutely insane, I have every piece of proof you would need to prove that the credit belong to me and still was denied. This policy is ridiculous!!! What If I wanted to give this credit to someone to help them out, or needed someone to get things for me at the store bc I was unable to get there. Yes, if I had known I would be denied use of this credit I would have just brought my husband's license with me to scan, but being allowed to use it w/o his license 3 times prior I did not think this would an issue. Also, me being able to provide as much information and receipts that I had on me should have been more than sufficient. I am so mad over this, I will not stop complaining until something is done about this. It might be petty, but when you go to check out and denied use of store credit and humiliated in front of other people it Makes the issue that much worse. I refused to pay out if pocket, I would not give them another dime...
Read moreIf I could give a negative I would, your associate Daniel (at customer service....? at least that is what's on receipt) and the male "manager" in a purple polo today, absolute disgrace to home depot. I have never been so appalled by some of your employees verbal usage as i was today.... he also cost you customers by what he said. and it will be continuously shared until made right.
I am absolutely appalled with the sheer lack of customer service, friendliness, no communication with customers about orders or what they are doing, as well as anything else! We ordered something that was needed for a job we were on (about a month ago- give or take a day or 2 max....) so we got the notification it was ready to be picked up, so we went to get it just to be met with the remark "Oh it was damaged so we sent it back" ok... i would have been fine with it had they called and informed me of this so i could then inform our clients waiting for their shower to be done..... so again the waiting game. Just to get notified it was there for pick up so we went to get it, and again... broken. So we take it to the customer service desk and tell them what happened, the associates name said Daniel. He just kept saying "you gotta tell manufactures name here because its not us who choose shipping methods" when in fact it is home depot because i did speak to manufacturers also. So we tell the associate we need an exchange to have a new one reshipped to the store for pick up..... he didn't listen... didn't offer any kind of help what so ever. he then refunded my card, which i didn't want.... i wanted them to just put in for an exchange due to being broken, again. I then had management come out to try and speak with them, the gentleman that came out in a purple polo was completely unprofessional, and the way he spoke to me was absolutely uncalled for and an absolute disgrace. I even had 2 customers who were shocked that was said and walked out of the store right behind me. Now, me and my husband own a business and have been giving home depot the majority of our business since 2017, for business reasons and materials, and even before then for our own home needs! With the absolute disgrace i faced today in that store, i am unsure if we will be back or take all of our business to Lowes and pull all of our client lists as well and swap to Lowes for the ease of business.
If you look at the photos, it is clear its damaged. I am also questioning the labels slapped on top of each other, for the fact I talked to the manufacturer and they flat out told me they dont get shipped back the products and its on home depot for them to deal with the payment, refund, reorder and disposal of damages. This looks like i was just given the same as the one they said they "returned" because of damages. Do better Home Depot! and...
