After having almost completed my payments for my instrument I began receiving letters stating collections would take control of my account. I called to check on the status of my account and was informed my total payoff would be about $150. I informed the employee I would just come by and finish the payoff that evening. A couple hours later I received a phone call from the Marlers Music collections and was informed they had taken over my account and would need a payment. I asked why are you doing this now when I just spoke to someone earlier about making the final payment and he said that he would be by to retrieve the instrument. I replied that he would receive the payment that I had already promised when I had the time to make it over. This employee then informs me that he can make this a class D felony if I dont return the instrument. The owner when called stated he did not understand why his collections took over and threatened me with a felony because one my account was in good standing and two he doesn't condone the use of threats. All I can say is this happened when I wanted to make the final payoff and in all the time I did business with this company I never received a phone call about my account or an apology for how I was treated. There are other music stores around i will be using...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStaff are friendly and knowledgeable. While the in store selections are not always what you may be looking for, Marler's is happy to order things for you from their knowledge of what is available generally. Another great thing about Marler Music is their lessons. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, they will always be able to teach something, and do it well. If you need a repair, no problem. Casey amd his staff are very competent in installing new parts or adjusting instruments to a more personal standard. Great place for all musicians. Edit:Marlers's Music was purchased by Ernie Williams a few months ago. Casey has taken new employment; I wish him all the best. Went in for the first time 2 weeks ago to see how things are now. If anything, it's better. I had a small fire in my shop/studio while I was recording and it destroyed some cables. Any musician that has attempted to record anything more than a selfie video will tell you just how many different connections you need, and they require different input/output connectors. They have it. If it's broken, it's getting fixed. The new staff is very friendly and will help with whatever you need, promptly, and with a smile that is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been on the hunt for a Sire Larry Carlton L7 in Tobacco Sunburst for some time now. I stumbled upon this shop online and saw that they had ONE left across all of their locations. The only one on the internet that wasnāt on back order!
I pulled the trigger on it this morning and within an hour, I received an email from Shane explaining to me that they discovered some blemishes on the guitar and would be happy to apply a fair discount. He provided his personal cell number so I called him and we worked out a great deal. On top of that, I was told that it will be sent out same-day. This is the kind of customer service that makes this industry so great.
Iām really happy I went with these guys. Next time Iām in the market, Ernie Williamson will be...
