well if you wanna wait 20 min to pay for your gas this is the place to go! they don’t give their cashiers the availability to void things on their own because they’re scared their employees are “stealing” so in return they expect you to stand and wait 20 min for a manager to show up to void the previous customer’s transaction! poor gas attendant called for a manager FOUR times before one showed up and as I stated I was there for nearly 20 minutes just standing at the register waiting! the GENERAL MANAGER walked passed and she asked for his help and he said someone else is on their way to help and walked out of the door and I proceeded to stand there for another 5 minutes LMAO. I shop here when I am shopping for my dad in Park Hills. I used to go to Walmart in Desloge until I found this little gem. Maybe they don't have the volume that Walmart has but I like that it's just groceries and not nearly as crowded. Country Mart has a fine selection and the pricing seems fair. The aisles are easy to maneuver. The only thing that is lacking, in my opinion, is a personal hygiene and otc medicine aisle. They offer some items but in different spots on short little shelves. Appreciate their deli and accomodating staff for the most part, funny, despite having a rude girl over-charging me for ice. Their deli cooked meats are great when fresh. They need someway to keep stuff warm while not drying out?. However; their meat in the back is always suspect. You need to cook stuff the same day.
