Cash America Pawn — Local services in Park Hills

Today my husband and I went to the pawn shop. We are aware of the limit of people that are allowed in with the "virus" going around. The limit is 10 people shopping at a time. But they were only allowing 4 people in at a time. One person in particular that works there named Jerri waited until we came in and YELLED at us that we needed to go back outside. There was nobody at the door letting customers know anything. Not to mention this same person that tells us, doesnt follow protocall of safe distancing. Shes inches from my husband the whole time. We have done alot of business with cash America and usually never deal with problems. This person was EXTREMELY rude and invasive. Almost to the point we no longer want to do business with them. Not to mention they were supposed to give him a Veteran discount. We were purchasing a TV that was marked $185. They took a little over 4 dollars off of the item. Thats all. Then wanted us to pay for a temporary warranty on it. This place has gone down hill and I'm very displeased with the customer care. The workers are rude, and were more worried about chatting with eachother in close proximity than helping their line of customers they had...

DO NOT USE THEIR LAYAWAY! BUYER BEWARE! I put a ps4 in layaway and had been paying on it monthly. I almost had it paid off and I called to let them know I would be on my way. According to my contract I was supposed to get it on a friday, I called the monday after. Because I didn't get my ps4 on friday they put it back. I understand that, but they also took roughly $200 of my money. I didn't get a credit with a fee taken off, just $200 gone. There was no grace period and no attempt to reach me to let me know what would happen. I was not told that if I was late even by a day that I would lose both the item and all money put down on it. I was however told that dollar amount doesn't matter either. If something was $1,000 and only had $1 left on it, if that $1 is late the person loses their item and $999. So buyer beware. I personally won't be buying from them again. I prefer a pawn shop that tells their customers things like this upfront if that is their policy. I just wonder what they do with the money they take from their customers. Does the person responsible get a nice bonus or...

I have NO complaints about the weekday employees BUT the weekend gal, who is no taller than a Gnome, wears glasses, has the dirtiest brown hair ever, acts like a Scrooge or Grinch, is ignorant to regular customers!!! She's never consistent about the loans. She doesn't refer to your retrieval history or consider looking. Ruining my niece and nephews play day, she has been ignorant to this customer her last time! I encourage a weekend Cash America boycott until a more pleasant person is at the reigns, her attitude, personality and treatment of customers is garbage at the very least!
