LA Nails and Spa — Local services in Parker

EDIT-I went back today and realized Mimi usually does my nails, not Jenny. But Jenny did fix them today and they came out wonderful.

I’ve gone to this salon a few times the last couple years and have loved them and the work that they do. They are usually very attentive and I love the nails they do, and they usually last quite a while. I went today to get a fill and have 3 nails put back on since they had fallen off and was very disappointed with the service. The acrylic she laid is very thin compared to the acrylic from the last set that Jenny did last time. The ones she redid today are the middle finger on the left hand and middle and ring on the right. The shape of these ones are also a little wonky and the right middle finger has no corner. She tried to fix this but just slapped more acrylic down and it got all under my nail and she tried to dig it out with a cuticle cutter and almost cut my finger. The nude color does not match the previous one even though she asked the other nail tech which one she used last time. The acrylic is laid over my cuticles on my nails as well. Gel is bubbly and uneven. She spent most of the appointment talking and laughing with the other techs, which not a big deal but definitely took away from her focus. I had a very disappointing experience at LA Nails. I had called ahead to schedule an appointment for two pedicures and one Gel-X service. Although they confirmed the appointment over the phone, when I arrived, they told me they hadn’t scheduled me for the Gel-X and I would have to wait for 20 mins after my pedicure to continue.

This was my second visit here—the first time was decent, which is why I decided to give them another try. Unfortunately, this visit completely changed my opinion. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive. I had to wait over 10 minutes just to get started, and during that time, no one acknowledged me. Everyone seemed more focused on their own conversations than the customers.

The pedicure itself was subpar. My husband was especially disappointed with his—it was rushed and poorly done, and he mentioned he wouldn’t return again.

TERRIBLE experience! I went in on a weekend without an appointment as they said walk-ins were welcome. The lady said they were busy and I was okay to come back on a different day with an appointment but then she said they could accommodate me, so I waited. I had come in to get my nails removed and get a basic manicure done. I really regret getting them done now. The lady who attended to me was probably in a hurry to get to the other customers so she did not follow proper procedure and just filed my nails away which was painful rather than soaking and removing them gently. The nail polish they applied also started chipping away within 2 hrs and was half gone by the end of that day. I have started experiencing pain in my right hand’s nails due to the rough treatment!! They could’ve just sent me away rather than damaging my nails and getting paid for it. My nails have horrible bumps and abrasions due to the treatment. This is horrible and...
