I came in and ordered at 6:47pm… it is now 7:20pm and I am still waiting for my TWO sandwiches!!! Update: I didn’t leave until 7:35pm!!! I ordered a large tuna salad sandwich w/ light mayo and light mustard, all the veggies & a pickle and I ordered a large turkey bacon ranch no mayo, no onion, sub Swiss for the cheddar, ranch on the side on gluten-free bread. After I paid and waited for what felt like an extraordinary long time, I looked at the receipt to see the time of order. I noticed the order was completely wrong. I went to the counter to straighten it out. I thought I straightened it out. After waiting more time- seeing six other people come in and order, then take their food- I went back up and asked someone to please explain what was taking so long. It had been nearly 40 minutes!! They apologized and said it was almost ready. Then I was handed a bad and asked to check it. It still wasn’t right!! I said I couldn’t wait anymore- they took my name and number and told me they would make it right. The turkey sandwich (s) - two medium = 1 large, had cheddar cheese. No pickle. The tuna sandwich had no veggies and no pickle. Little did I know what the bread was like. When I finally got home and my husband opened his tuna sandwich- the bread was hard as a rock! No veggies, a ton of mayo and bread that he couldn’t bite through. This is not the experience I’ve known from Firehouse Subs. It’s tastes so good and keeps me wanting to come back for more, however, the last 3 times I have come in at 7 or 8 pm, when the establishment closes at 9 pm, and every time they have all the chairs up and have cleaned out the soda machine so I can’t get soda. I came in tonight it’s not even closing time and a worker is putting all the chairs on top of the tables. I ask if they are still open and he just ignores me and keeps putting up chairs. The worker behind the counter said they were so I came in. It felt awkward like they wanted to leave and I was just troubling them or something. When the worker behind the counter asked if I wanted to dine in I asked if it was okay and she said it was fine, the other worker was still putting chairs on top of the tables and she had to tell him to leave at least one table alone. He did but kept putting all the other chairs up on the remaining tables. Not even 6 minutes after I sat down and started eating more and more people started showing up but the workers didn’t put the chairs down. Some just stood around and some even grabbed chairs down so they could sit at one of the tables. I’ve never had treatment like that ever. I won’t be coming back in at an evening time again. It was horrible experience regarding the environment and customer service. Even right now as I finish my food the male coworker is still putting chairs up from the people who had sat at that table not 3 minutes ago next to me, while I’m still sitting here eating. The problem came when we checked our daughters sandwich before leaving it was supposed to be a basic medium ham and cheese sandwich but when we opened it it smelt very strong of spices when we opened it there was a lot of what seemed to be Italian seasoning so over powering the sandwich my daughter could not eat it. So I went to the counter to ask them to remake it. I was then told “we can not we are busy” I said that is not ok then a younger gentleman the manager said we can “but you will need to wait 30 to 40 min” I said no I need ASAP we have waited 55 min already now the guy that made The sandwich came to me and said well you ordered an Italian sandwich which I replied what does that matter he said well I made them at the same time so I might’ve got the Italian stuff on the ham sandwich ok that still dose not make it right they then wanted to give min a free medium sandwich card and keep the one they messed up o said what is my sick daughter supposed to eat they just shrugged their shoulders and said we are too busy and under staffed. Also on this trip the medium Ham sandwich is on the wall as under seven dollars on the menu listed at 699 and they charged us 799 they said sorry our prices went up but we haven’t changed our menu pricing and the girl at the register had no personality and didn’t care what we thought.
