HANDS DOWN STELLAR valentines! and GLUTEN FREE! Thank you. I needed this!
I don’t like you can’t reply to others’ google review. Like, Jim S, have you ever even been to a Texas Roadhouse before?! 😂 too loud?! No place to wait?! Oy!
So first, yeah, all the ones I have been to are loud. I will say, I have a child who is not fond of loud places, yet for some reason this one is not on the bad list. And I did not feel I couldn’t hear or not have a conversation. And I couldn’t hear other’s’ conversations. It was just the busy loud. But if you’re into quiet dinners, Texas Roadhouse has never been on any list for this type!
Second, all the ones I’ve been to have 2 benches outside, an entry way with or without benches, and then the stand/case area. Plenty of room like chilis and other main restaurants to wait, and of course the bar area. Or you can sit in your own car in privacy until they text you by phone! Oh, there’s also the call ahead option. Can’t say I’ve ever waited over 15 minutes for a table before and that’s even with cars lined up to get in the parking lot.
But back to MY review because Jim lost me after this. (Except now I’m coming back to say I was bored and finally finished his review, and, if you are a professional Mac and cheese out to eater, than you should know to ask what it’s like as half the restaurants out there literally serve BOX KRAFT. BUT I will agree with your pic of shredded cheese on the potato. That ain’t right. That’s probably all the Karen at your table was really mad about looking at the rest). LOL!
The service was phenomenal. I should say, everything was, really!
From the door greeter/hostess who had to deal with 50 people trying to cram into the foyer and being in her face yet she was calm and collective, to the hosts at the stand dealing with another crowd anxious to be seated, to the staff front to back - they were slammed, loving it, friendly, amazing. Everyone had smiles, no one was stressed or rushing.
The food was excellent, the steaks were perfect, we ate way too much and it was a great price. Those cooks know what they’re doing!
Very clean. Clean floor, tables, bathrooms, and napkins! They use cloth napkins. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve opened a dirty cloth napkin at some place, but never here!!
They have an allergen friendly menu on their website but you won’t find it in person, with the caveat of the GF bun option. My server was not knowledgeable either BUT she had the right tools, was friendly and kind about it, and got my questions answered! That’s service! And she was interested and actively engaged. Other servers were checking on us and others. Bussers were interacting with staff and others. Some table accidentally broke a glass. As the busser was immediately walking up to help, and the table was already cleaning it up themselves, the busser expressed genuine concern they would be hurt.
The food came out timely. The bar was super busy but the drinks were actually not terribly long like you would think. This is something I would expect on a busy night though and am pretty used to. You can only fit 1 maybe 2 behind a bar. That’s a lot of drinks! Great service, taste, and price here, too!
We weren’t rushed when we wanted to sit after for a few (we didn’t stay longer than our welcome of course).
Great service all around. No complaints. We come here every so often but it was just great tonight!
We were joking on the TV displaying employee pictures that almost every one of them said “meet the manager” and there must have been 15 managers, but I guess whatever you are doing is working!!!...

I received a phone call from the owner, he understood the problem and apologized for a) the confusion, b) for the service from the waiter and c) for the manager’s attitude.
He invited me and my family to give another chance to the restaurant.
I also wanted to make sure nobody lost their job, because we all are humans, we make mistakes; the owner told me they don’t believe in firing people, they believe in coaching teams, and that’s great.
I didn’t delete the review because it’s good for the readers to know Texas Roadhouse took responsibility for the issue and they made it right.
I’m happy that everything is now clarified, because my kids love the restaurant and their bread!
The review says 1 star ⭐️ But now I’m giving back the other 4 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Me and my family had the bad idea to celebrate my birthday at Texas Road House in Parker, CO (11205 S. Parker Rd)
Well.. I'm gonna summarized the problem:
I ordered the "8 ox. Sirloin & Grilled Shrimp Combo" and I added a sidekick for my meal, that was the "Shrimp - 360 cal for $7.98"
for my mom I ordered "9 Shrimp and veggies"
When they served the food, I got my dish with 6 shrimp and my mom got 6 shrimp as well, I told them there is an error, because I ordered 9 shrimp for my mom and I also ordered the shrimp sidekick for $7.98
The explanation was: They will bring the 3 additional shrimp for my mom and I got 1 extra shrimp for 7.98 because the original order included 5 shrimp, the sidekick is 1, yes ONE additional shrimp for $7.98.
I explained that I visit the restaurant frequently and the sidekick have 5 or 6 shrimp with toasted bread, they said NO, it is ONE (yes, 1) extra shrimp for $7.98
and they never brought the 3 additional shrimp for my mom and they charged me 5 times 3.99 for shrimp
When the manager showed up, she made the things worst, we came with an angry face, with a bad attitude saying she has worked 3 years there and it is always ONE extra shrimp for $7.98 and the waiter has worked 10 years there and confirmed it is 1 extra shrimp for 7.98!! SO... at the end I was the liar and what an "amazing deal" 1 shrimp for almost $8 dollars
Well the menu shows the sidekick for $7.99 and includes 5 or 6 shrimp with two pieces of toasted bread, maybe paying one more cent makes the things better
Please... I visit that restaurant many times and never the sidekicks became a problem, the manager showed the worst customer care ever and the waiter... let's say he was clueless
I feel really bad for having that awful experience in a restaurant I used to love.
If Texas Road House keep hiring those kind of managers... they will fail, the customers visit nice places to eat not only for the food but for the service as well.
I recommend other people to not visit this restaurant and if you do... ask the explanation of the sidekicks before ordered them.
Today they ruined my birthday celebration, bummer
Update 03/19/2024: I was contacted 4 weeks ago by corporate Texas Road House, they asked me to submit my complaint in their website, I did that and no answer.
I don’t care about a free meal or something like that, but I do care about customer experience and companies respecting their customers.
Maybe they love to collect complaints and they wanted mine for their...

It All Starts With The Management and Hiring The Right People!
I ordered one 16 ounce sirloin with cup of chili and a baked potato Told the waiter that I wanted the steak cooked M-Rare and for it to be cooked on flat top only! Well to my surprise it wasn’t cooked Medium Rare as it was more Medium and towards the sides Medium Well Why is this so inconsistent? They were probably at 75% full (Busy) but really slow when it came to getting food out! So I started to eat the steak cause I was hungry I told the waiter about it and he tells me that it’s hard for the cooks to cook on the flat top! (Training Goes A Long Ways) Last I checked if the temperature of the flat top is evenly heated (Right Temp) it shouldn’t be an issue ? Medium Rare on a 1 1/4 steak is 3 minutes each side Why is such an issues ?
Well I am a big eater so I ordered another 16 ounce sirloin prepared the same way with sides and no surprise cooked Medium in the middle of the sirloin and outward Medium Well on both sides of the sirloin…..
As to the sides Baked Potato and Chili No Issues!
In the end as I received my bill $26.99 x 2 for $58.30 total and then $10 tip to waiter Basically $70 for dinner Well something just doesn’t sit well with me and for this kinda price point I don’t think it’s worth returning for when they can’t cook a steak correctly Not Just Once But Two Times! Not Acceptable!
In the end ? You would think they would have cooked 2nd steak better with more attention to detail! (Customer Request Waiter Saying Something To Cook) Guess not as it’s all about getting people in and out of the establishment!
