Gihon Village Shopping Center adds — Local services in Parkersburg

We went to visit Ollie's Bargain Barn. I hadn't been there in quite some time, so noticed many newer things I hadn't before. Ollie's is a bargain-hunters dream-come-true! Prices are reasonable. Pay attention, though! If you aren't up on Ollie's info., you might not know, that... everything in the store is not brand new! They have items, like small appliances, that are "factory refurbished," meaning... they have cosmetic (i.e. a scratch, a dent, etc.) damage or a small piece broken & reattached. Open the box & inspect the product. If it's damage you can overlook or repair yourself, decide if you are o.k. w/ the price as is relative to the damage. You might want to inquire as to whether the ticketed price is final, or if they would take a little less for it. If it is final, can you live with that? If not, keep looking. If, say, you come across a package of ten bar soaps, but 2 are missing, would you pay full price... which is $9.00 for 8 bars, instead of 10? Again, you can inquire as to whether or not this price is final. If not, perhaps you could ask if they would take $7.00, saving yourself $2.00. That's entirely up to you. A friend of mine bought many items, only one of which price she questioned. It was some kind of pen/marker stain on one edge of a shirt (she knew she could get the stain out). The cashier said the ticketed price was final, so my friend passed on purchasing the almost $10.00 shirt (she knew she could purchase a $3 tee in the men's department at Walmart, that was much nicer- and clean!- than the tee at Ollie's! Actually, she could buy THREE of Walmart's shirts for ONE of Ollie's, that had a stain!). So, while Ollie's has an array of different products, many of which you won't find anywhere else, be vigilant & bring a small calculator to stick in your pocket, to figure out a specific discount/or a cell phone with data so you can search online or other stores to see if you can get a better price. It is a very nice shopping center. Having a grocery store, variety store, dollar store, two restaurant, and a banking center. Very clean and excellent amount of parking spaces. Very clean and inviting atmosphere.i would recommend this Shopping center to my friends and family as well as a stranger asking for a good shopping center. If I were to have to pick one place that I could only go to for the rest of my life this Shopping center would be the one. I have traveled around the world while in the United States Marine Corp as well as the forty years after that and this is one of my favorite places.to shop and would be absolutely satisfied if I could...

I visit here often to visit Planet Fitness. I have been going 6 days a week for 6 years. Ollie's has some great bargains. You never know what you are going to find. Lots of fast food places are nearby. A new Aldi's is right down the the road, along with Piggly Wiggly. Three good Mexican restaurants are nearby too. There are many more bargain businesses and a mini mall. If you're looking for something you could probably find it here with a Walmart and Kohl's just over the hill. There's alot to choose from.
