Fedde Furniture — Local services in Pasadena

I bought an expensive and beautiful Bradington-Young motorized recliner at Fedde’s in October of 2020. I enjoyed every moment I had the chair until it stopped working two and a half years later. Compounding the problem was that I had moved to Colorado Springs. I made several calls locally trying to get the chair serviced and I was getting nowhere. Suffice it to say, I felt like I was getting the run-around and this was really frustrating given the price of the chair.

A local Colorado Springs dealer for Bradington-Young told me I needed to deal with the retailer who sold the chair in order to obtain warranty coverage. I called Fedde and spoke with a manager. He was very concerned about the run-around and he said he would fix the situation the next day. The next day I received an email from Mark Fedde himself. He asked for some identifying information off the chair. I took photos of the motor and sent them to him. He personally dealt with Brandington-Young. A new motor was with Fed Ex within days. Fedde's covered the shipping cost.

In addition to having perhaps the nicest collection of American furniture available anywhere, Fedde’s subscribes to old-school standards of customer service and ethics. They are total class. I will miss having Fedde’s down the street. They are a Pasadena classic, and I will always cherish everything I bought there...

High prices, high quality, so so service. We had someone come to our home for a design service. We told them what we had in mind and they took some measurements and said they'd come back with some ideas. Two weeks later, we went to the store again to see the ideas. They turned out to be rectangles on a piece of paper as a scale drawing of the room with cutouts roughly the size of a few pieces of furniture that she just pushed around the rectangles into different "configurations" Maybe this was just poor salesmanship on the part of setting expectations of what design services are, but when I hear "Design Services" I expect something a little more involved. I was hoping for a 3d rendering of the room with a few different color ideas, maybe a suggestion for accent pieces... It was like ordering a pizza, expecting Dominoes and getting an elementary school lunch slice.

We did end up ordering a couple of couches because this is the only place we could find the high quality we wanted. Just don't waste your time with their "design services" Even at free, I felt taken...

Mark is amazing, my experience with this furniture was awsome, I bough 2 sofas in January 8th 2017 and 1 is a sleeper air mattress, I can't say with words how helpful has Mark been to us. I am a business owner with impecable reviews on line because we provide the best experience to every single customer of ours, and here Mark make me feel just like I treat my customers, I read all the reviews here and there are a few negative reviews but it's difficult to please customers that don't want to listen, when you want to buy good quality furniture you must come prepare with $$$$ because their furniture is the best, besides they back their furniture 100% I am a very satisfied customer, thank you Mark.
