Herman Miller Retail Store — Local services in Pasadena

Came in to try the chairs after a friend recommend that I try them because I've been having back pain with the other office chairs I've used.

Customer service was exceptional. Especially the woman who helped me (dark haired, with a facial tattoo). I never caught her name, but she was awesome! Really chill, super mellow, never felt pressured to buy and extremely professional. She was the opposite of the pushy salesmen you can often run into. She made the buying experience extremely comfortable for me, which honestly was the thing I was worried about the most going to visit the store.

So I bought a chair right then and there. They have a tiny alleyway loading zone behind the store where you can drive to pick up your purchase.

After getting home and unpacking the chair, I started to not like the blue color that I got (it looked better in pictures and on video, I assume from some rendering/photoshopping) and swapped it out for the black one which looks much more professional. The furniture is absolutely amazing, and their ergonomic chairs are by far the most comfortable I’ve ever sat in. Rey and her team provided outstanding service from start to finish. Rey was incredibly knowledgeable and guided me toward finding the perfect chair for my needs. She was patient, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process, making the experience very enjoyable.

Simply put, the best customer service experience I have ever had. The staff is attentive and honest, knowledgeable of both their products and how they fit your needs (obviously) and also of the local area.

Though the entire staff is Fantastic, special shout out to Johnathon whom answered all the questions I had, both ones I communicated verbally, and even ones I communicated non-verbally.
