I will never set foot in this place again!!! I've come to this place for happy hour almost on a weekly basis. However today, I had the worst experience. I was humiliated and I received the worst service EVER by the little Latina Waitress with the big hair and ugly attitude. My boss and I showed up at 6:00 PM to take advantage of the $3.00 happy hour specials that end at 7 PM, we had just finished an audit so I suggested this place. We sat down at the couches and waited to be served. About 15 minutes later the waitress walked over and took our order. We waited what seemed like forever, which was strange because the place was not even packed...AT ALL. Finally another 15-20 minutes rolled around and she finally came with our drinks and she tried to walk away. I told the waitress that I wanted to place an order for appetizers and another round of drinks and that we would be ordering dinner immediately after. She shortly and rudely told my boss and I "I can't put in another order until you drink those first!!" I don't know what was up with this waitress, she's usually very nice. Today she had a chip on shoulder and was trying act like she owned the place. That upset me a bit and I told her "Listen, I would really like to take advantage of the happy hour prices before it ends. Unfortunately I hate to say but your service has been extremely slow today and the place isn't even busy." And there's no reason for you to talk to us that way. She just walked away and refused to order new drinks. I finally moved from the table to the bar and attempted to place the order myself. The bartender ignored us for a while and then she finally comes over and says that the waitress told her not serve us anymore and asked us to leave. I was shocked by the treatment I received. Never has this happened to me, and especially after only 1 drink. I asked to speak to the manager and the bartender Muriel told me that he was walking around somewhere. I asked the Muriel the bartender as to why the waitress didn't come over herself and ask me to leave. She responded saying that she didn't like confrontation and that she was embarrassed to have to do it for her. Finally the bartender points out the owner and I walk over to him. Before the waitress even told him anything, I went up to them and ask why I was being thrown out and why had I received such horrible service. I explained to the owner what happened and the waitress completely lied and said I had cussed at her and that i was very aggressive and that she was afraid of me. People!!!! I was with MY BOSS, that is NOT my character and I strictly gave her some constructive criticism AFTER she rudely refused to take our order for a second round. Who does that??!?!?! The owner says to me, " Look, she's almost crying, please go". Seriously?!?!? Did this happen?!?! He says She's about to cry" THAT'S IT?! No discussion?! ( I wonder if I would've started crying if he would've let me stay HA!!!) So... he asked me to leave. Since when is it rude and aggressive for a paying patron who's been waiting 30 minutes for drinks, to let their server know that they're not happy??!?!?!?! I went back inside and I got my coat, my boss came out to talk to owner and told him that his employee was lying and that his treatment of us was unacceptable for a business owner. The guy finally says, look lets go inside and talk about it. I told him absolutely not and to cancel my booked party of 20 for next month. He just looks at us and says...whatever bye!! All I can say is, KARMA!! She'll get hers and I won't have to do anything....but she will remember me when she gets the same treatment from someone else. And the owner??!?! What a douche! No management...

Went for Monday Happy Hour where appetizers were half off. Decent food, but very small portions for the price, even at half off pricing. I would NOT order these at full price. And it seems like even at half off pricing no one was there. The place was fairly empty at 5-6pm.

Ordered the Brussel Sprouts, Blue Cheese Wings & Pork Belly off the Appetizer menu. The brussel sprouts were a ridiculously small portion. It seemed like only 3-4 brussel sprouts broken apart & coated in a sweet sauce that I didn't care for. Definitely not worth the $ even at half off. The blue cheese wings were a decent portion (6 wings) but mediocre in taste. The pork belly was good but a small portion again (4 pieces). The pork belly came on a plate slathered in some orange sauce that was NOT good. Would have preferred the sauce on the side. When I asked for another sauce or hot sauce, the only options I was given were Tabasco or Salsa. Felt weighed down about 30 minutes after eating there with an stomach, so that makes me wonder about the quality. Would have given it 3 stars for the food quality, portions & happy hour price points (I would not pay regular prices for their food), until this happened.

MY BEER HAD A BUG IN IT. I told the waitress, showing her the BUG in my beer & thought I would get a replacement beer like ANY other restaurant. Instead the waitress came back saying the bartender said there's nothing they can do about it. Maybe I was too polite when I mentioned the BUG in my BEER so they didn't care, but WOW! JUST WOW!! I've NEVER been to a place that thought it was ok not to replace a beer with a bug in it, even when being polite about it. THIS MAKES ME QUESTION THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD AT THIS RESTAURANT EVEN MORE & MAYBE THAT'S WHY I DIDN'T FEEL SO GOOD ABOUT 30 MIN AFTER EATING THERE!! This makes me question the quality of their food even more. I would NOT recommend this place at all. This was our first & last experience with this restaurant. We do not...

Met up here for a birthday dinner with my girls and we had such a nice experience! Drinks were beautiful, food and service were excellent, and the vibes were relaxed and fun, especially with the live music outside - a really great meetup spot in Old Pasadena!

For drinks our party had The Empress (gin cocktail), Lavish Hibiscus (tequila cocktail), Lola Fairy Berry (vodka cocktail), and a Pineapple Coconut Mojito. Their drink presentation was definitely gram-worthy - and our party loved all of them except the Lavish Hibiscus (too bitter). But they happily exchanged it for another choice (no charge for the untouched drink) - so definitely high quality customer service here!

For food we shared a bunch of their appetizers - the Mac ‘N Cheese, Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Breaded Zucchini, and some fries. Everything was plated beautifully and utterly delicious- especially the Brussel sprouts - they were my fave!

Our server was fantastic as well - very attentive, helpful, and friendly - my water glass was never less than half full haha! The vibes are so cute too - sort of rustic, shabby-chic style with some really beautiful paintings hanging all over the walls and splashes of color to break up the wood theme - very Old Pasadena - loved it! Truly a place to take your time and have a relaxed catch-up sesh with the gals (even on a busy weekend evening)!

Prices are mid range and comparable to the surrounding area. Parking is nearby in one of the numerous public lots or on the street but that’s difficult to find in Old Pasadena. I usually use the De Lacey garage - always find a spot there and it’s...

I personally think that Edwin Mills prices are still very reasonable especially their drinks menu and happy hour compare to other places nearby. I like a few items on their menu that I ordered again and again when I'm there: oodles of noodles and calamari. The Oodles is like pad thai but I like their version better, less sweet and just perfectly cooked ( I noticed it is generous also on the chicken chunks). They have plenty more options to choose. The latest drink on the menu that I enjoyed so much is the tamarindo cocktail. It's sweet and sour (from the tamarind) but I like it so much, I have 2 glasses each time. Now, they also have Edwin Mills red blend wine. If you like red wine, you can try it. It's very good and it's not pricey. You wouldn't be disappointed. Almost everyday they have live music, (except Sat-Sun). You don't get to see see much of live music around anymore, so definitely it's a plus! They have cute and unique decorations and brick wall... bathroom also get a nice artistic touch. Poochies are always welcome here, they can sit outside on the patio, they serve water for the dogs if necessary. Good option for dog lovers! I am also a fan of typography and they have it all over the wall. My fave is Friday jazz cartel band.

This place has so much potential but everything was so lackluster. It was all right on the edge of being good but just wasn't. First, the host seemed to be disgusted that we were asking for a table. The waitress was moderately nice enough but took a while to just get our water. And the food, well... I just give you the example of the salad as you can see in the pictures. But the thing was barely prepared, more like slapped together. The chicken was on the edge of being pink, and it was slathered in nasty oil. I was wondering why my fiancee' was looking sad while eating. After I tasted it I realized why. It was gross, all the way around. I ordered the salmon burger with a side salad instead of fries and that salad was better than the $14 salad by far, but it was still just okay. The salmon patty was good but the buns were bland and tasted old for sure. The only real 5/5 was the live music. Those artists were the glue holding it together. Which if you're talking about a restaurant, you know that's bad. They have no real part in the restaurant. So I hope the owners read this and make positive changes. It can be a sweet spot but not now... not now
