Got my hair styled recently with Karlas makeup & spa. I called to schedule the appointment & also asked the price over the phone, I was quoted $45. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed the day of when I was charged $80 (plus I left a tip). The actual stylist was nice & efficient. I was there only about 30min & I have shoulder length hair. Also the style didn’t even last 2 hours (my hair fell flat). Like I said it was very disappointing for them to have quoted me a price over the phone & pay something totally different. I could understand if I had thick long hair & was charged more because it was more work. Or if they would’ve quoted me $80 from the start. I honestly don’t like businesses who operate like this. I had gone to get highlights and I went back just to cover my grey hairs. They DYED all my hair and my highlights were gone after I had payed a lot to get them done! I wanted them to fix my hair bc it’s not what I asked for. Receptionist kept saying she will speak to Karla. A week had gone by and I went again and I got the same response “I will speak with Karla and we will contact you” it’s now been 4 weeks and haven’t heard from them. I went in for makeup and hair (for a wedding). I do not know the names of the girls who helped me, but the first one did my makeup. It was nice, nothing over the top. She gave me some fake eyelashes.😃 The second girl did my hair. It turned out so pretty!!😁 While getting my hair done, my right eye started burning & watering. By the time my hair was finished, my makeup on my right eye and face makeup under my eye was gone. Jasmine helped me with fixing my makeup.
