This is my first time going to the store and my last. I was shopping around for some professional clothing and shoes. They have no carts for you to use. So I carried my baby and my 5 year old son walked around with me. My son needed to use the restroom so I grabbed the two boxes of pairs of shoes, which was hard while carrying a baby. We kindly walked to the register and there was a young lady with red hair checking someone out. She seemed to be the only employee close to where we were at. I asked her nicely if they had a restroom and I didn’t hear her respond so I asked her nicely again she responded with, “I SAID YES” so I asked her where the restroom was at and she just told me “hold on” with an attitude. She could hear my son struggling to hold it in and she continued to do what she was doing. She didn’t call anyone to help with opening the restroom and she also wouldn’t tell us where the restroom was. I had to ask her again if she could just tell me where the restroom was because at that point my son was crying that he was about to have an accident, but yet again she ignored me. I wanted to run out but I had the shoe boxes and I didn’t know where else to take him to the restroom. I was so mad because she could hear my son crying and she even made small talk with the customer she was helping while we waited there. It was already too late for my son when she finally finished with the customer and all she said was “follow me”. My son was crying because he had an accident. She took us to the restroom and I was really upset. I asked her if she was the manager or if I could speak to the manager and she walked away. She ignored me. I followed her and I was calling her “ma’am” and she continued to ignore me. Thankfully I found an assistant manager who I spoke to and she mentioned that the main manager wasn’t there, but that she would talk to her so they could take disciplinary actions. I told her I would call to make sure something was done because I don’t care if it was me, an adult, but this was a 5 year old child who just needed to urinate. Nothing else. I hope something is done about that young lady. There was no need to be rude because I wasn’t rude to her until she started to treat me wrong. I told my son in front of her that she was ignoring us and that I was sorry people...

And truth be told all the girls were so kind and just always had a smile, I even cracked a joke with one of them and such great vibes in the store. I was so happy as a customer who’s been going there for years that Melrose found some amazing employees....
