Paid $225 for a 30 minute consultation. They were 20 minutes late to the appointment. No "sorry for being late" or any type of mention of it. Gave more of a "what do you want?" Type attitude when they finally called me. Zero humanity, zero empathy, I felt more like I was inconveniencing her more than anything else. One word answers to questions. Just really dehumanizing. If you aren't going to be able to help then at least pretend to listen for the 30 minutes I paid for. Save your money and don't waste your time. *Edit since it won't let me comment on a comment. I got emailed saying that there was a cancellation and that an opening for an earlier appointment was available. I agreed to 9:30 and got a confirmation email that it was changed. I didn't receive a call until 9:50 making it 20 minutes late. And she was definitely not "long winded" I felt dehumanized and like I was inconveniencing her. If I could give them no stars I would. I was eager to work with this law firm based off of the reviews and the referral that I received. I payed the consult fee and spoke with a lawyer who was two hours late for the appointment, stated they scheduled the appointment for when she needed to pick up her son. I’m a mother so I understood, I gave her my situation and asked what should I do how could I fight it, and was essentially told I was lying. There had to be more to my story because it didn’t make sense. I’m already in a vulnerable state being that this case involves my child. And all I was asked was why I needed a lawyer and why I wanted to go back to court after a ruling was already made. They took their consult fee and never gave me a consult.
