Their food was so good! Garlic Naan was so garlicky and crispy with abundant cilantro. Samosa was good and even the dough was seasoned well (personally the potato filling could’ve had even more spices, but still tasted good). Chicken Tikka Masala had lots of chicken and the portion was pretty big. It wasn’t overly creamy or rich like in some other places, and it was really flavorful. The Tandoori Eggplant was also pretty big in portion and tasted so good with mashed eggplant texture. The pricing was a bit higher than what I’m used to, but the portions seemed to make up for it (except for the Naan).
The service was good and the food came out reasonably fast (got there before 6pm).
There’re huge windows facing the mountains, so it feels open and nice for people watching :)
The women’s bathroom was clean but the door was so stiff and kept getting stuck that it only left a narrow space to get in and out.
Just one reservation for going back to this place was, the cost didn’t add up. The breakdown invoice was hand-written and hard to read, so I looked up the price on their website after we left. We were charged $2.11 more than what I saw on their website including taxes. I tried “ordering online” just to see the total cost, and still showed the same amount of discrepancy. Not sure if this was like a Covid-19 service charge? If it was, I get it but it should’ve been disclosed. The handwritten breakdown had four items and we didn’t see any extra item/charge on it.
All in all, the food was so satisfying, but the lack of price transparency leaves bitter taste in my mouth. May be just double check the breakdown...
Read moreI would love to give it a 3.5 in my opinion. First off the staff and atmosphere was great. Very clean and organized. Seating were spacious. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was okay. I did feel like the rice was dry. It had a hard taste to it from being dry. Bit chewy. They had 2 types of rice a Yellow and white rice. Also, their chutney looked very artificial. Not gonna lie it looked like it had food coloring or something. Didn't taste fresh. The tamarind and raita sauces were watered down and the chicken Tika Masala was also watery. I mean the creamy sauce foe the chicken shouldn't be watery like soup, right? Or is this a different way of making it? Not sure but what I do know, is that the veggies like the zucchini and garbanzo were good. I mean they were flavorful and had a nice texture. Their veggie pakora had way too much batter and really didn't taste like anything the mango Lassi had a weird concentrate smell to it. I didn't know if it was expired or it was just that strong and concentrated. Well.. I hope they can improve on their food quality. Sometimes it's better to make fresh food. I did enjoy their dessert but I really can't stress enough on improving their food and flavors. And although they discounted drinks I feel as if though it was really compensating for the lack of quality....
Read moreHonestly, this is my second time I’ve come here and I’ve been nothing but very pleased! Very lovely people and the food honestly is fresh and delicious! I’ve done the all you could eat which is perfect for people who are willing to try Indian cuisine for the first time.
Also the all you can eat changes as well, at least from what I’ve seen the second time I’ve come here. They also have vegetarian options in their menu and in the all you can eat as well, at least these two times I’ve come they’ve always offered vegan options. (I am no vegan but for those who are and would like to know 😊)
Overall, I can’t complain about anything. Everything I’ve tasted so far has been very delicious! All you can eat starts at 11am -2:30 pm for $19 per person, so why not give it a try? I am sure you will all love it as much as I have and honestly It’s going to be one of my go to places when...
