Deadwood Revival Design — Local services in Paso Robles

From a muse of a sketch to a dream-like dining table that we hope to pass on to the next generation, Pepe and his team at Deadwood Revival Design created a masterpiece for our family.

The team built a dining table for 6 people with a 60-year old redwood slab. The process included discussions on the requirement, understanding the business and artistic approach, and virtual collaboration on the base design.

Highlights of our experience: Mindfulness of the must haves — smooth edges, easy-to-maintain, solid/strong built — along with openness to experiment/improvise Ease of collaboration: attention to details, instant evaluation, and general understanding of aesthetics that are hard to communicate/articulate Thoughtful delivery and placement: rubber pads in the base to maneuver over wooden floor, modular setup to move the table inside the house, notes on varnish/polish and how-to take care of the furniture

Pepe and George also gifted us a set of 6 coasters handmade with Walnut wood.

The personal touch is all over the piece and the partnership. And we are inspired to do a makeover of the rest of our living space based on the natural heritage, craftsmanship, and artistic spirit of the dining table.

Deadwood Revival in Paso Robles did an incredible job creating a custom his-and-hers standing desk setup for me. I wanted a single redwood slab cut into two desktops so they’d look seamless at the same height, but remain independently adjustable. Their attention to detail was outstanding—they delivered stunning, high-quality pieces and even went above and beyond by assembling the desk frames and adding threaded inserts to the bottoms of the desktops. I chose a smooth matte finish with a live edge which looks and feels incredible.

I came in yesterday with a small project. Danny and Mitch said that they can help me out. It took them 20 minutes to do what I needed. And I was highly impressed with their craftsmanship and professional demeanor. They also helped me out with a few ideas of their own to help me finish my project. I was highly impressed with their carpenter shop. Being a woodworker myself I was jealous with what I saw in their shop. There shop is what i'm looking to put together for a carpenter shop for myself.
