I had to wait several hours before posting this, to calm down and be fair. But I'm not sure it worked. First let me say that the majority of my reviews are to praise & compliment places. But NOT TODAY!! I am so appreciative of the essential employees providing some kind of normalcy in the world today, during these scary times. I am constantly thanking the grocery staff for being out there for us. So here's our experience today. We were buying meals for a few people & ordered almost $30 worth of food, when the employee at the window asked if we could pull around to the front because an item was taking longer to cook. Let's be honest, it's a pain when that happens because the one bringing your order runs off so fast, if something isn't right, we have to go IN to fix it. But in this case, get in line again & go through the drive through. Trying to be reasonable, we agreed. When the employee, (a tall dark haired guy probably in his mid 20s), came out to deliver our order, he was friendly enough, but did not have a mask or gloves on like the other employees there or in any of the other restaurants we have been to recently. And when he came back with sauce (they'd forgotten) he was touching his face several times. Like a nervous habit. I mentioned the fact to my husband but we did not say anything. Until as we were leaving I noticed they gave us spicy popcorn chicken instead of the classic popcorn chicken we'd ordered. So we got back in line & the next guy at the window had gloves & a mask on & so I mentioned to him while we were getting our food exchanged, that the other guy didn't. Maybe the maskless guy overheard our conversation but he came to the window & said " he didn't have to" & he'd actually researched it & it was only mandatory in San Luis Obispo County. We weren't sure what had been mandated or not but this guy said he'd researched it. My husband said, dude you are IN San Luis Obispo County! He continued to argue with us & said now you are insulting me! I'm thinking this guy needs to go back to his customer service videos. About not arguing with the customer. We never intended to ask for our money back but he became so rude. My husband said, I'll tell you what, just give us our money back. If you touched our food without the anti virus precautions, we don't want it. The guy said okay, give me every single thing back. We handed him every bag, and sauce & beverage & then he had the nerve to say is that everything?! As if we were actually going to keep something & eat anything coming from there. Then he began arguing again after we'd given him everything back. As if he wasn't going to give us our money! So I told him I was definitely going to review him & he said "Now you're threatening me??!" Lol. Yep I love that reviewing businesses give customers a voice to share stories like this!!!!!It took ten more minutes to get our money back and believe me, we will NEVER go there again!! We did however go to the Jack in the Box on Creston by Food 4 Less where they were nice & professional, had a mask & gloves on & didn't ask us to pull around-to the front & wait for TEN MINUTES for our order to avoid their time limit issues. We almost wouldn't have ever gone back to a jack in the box again after that treatment. But everyone was expecting their order at home. So we gave The Creston one a chance & they get the five stars. But if you want to be safe during this virus pandemic only go where EVERYONE follows the mandated health precautions This guy wouldn't tell us his name but this happened during the late morning shift on Saturday the 11th if owners or managers check...
Read moreWe used to frequent this location, and aside from the ice tasting dirty, like they never clean the ice machine, we never had any issues here. But in the last year, their customer service has gone down hill. We went there tonight because their drive thru is usually open until 11pm. We drove up to the speaker, and all the lights were on, but nobody was there. We waited several minutes. Nothing. We drove up to the window, and again all the lights are on inside. The sign in the window says the drive thru is open until 11 every night. There is no other signage. Nobody comes to the window. I beeped my horn when I saw a lady inside walk by, and she tells me they closed at 10pm. I wasted time and fuel driving over there because they can't be bothered to update Google or post a sign anywhere in the drived-thru to say they're closed, or even put a cone in the drive-thru to indicate they are closed. This is a small rural town. There are no other drive-thru restaurants within at least 5 miles. And no other dine-in restaraunts open for dinner within 5 miles. I'm...
Read morePlaced an online order for drive thru pickup a week ago and did not recieve a single item I ordered. I returned the food to get what I ordered and submitted a complaint online. Today I placed another online order and when I picked it up at the drive thru window the employee confronted me about complaining about the previous online order that wasn't accurate. I just told the employee I didn't recieve a single thing I ordered and had every right to complain about it. The employee went on about how he disagreed and I told him I didn't care and no longer wanted the food I was there to pickup and expected a refund and left the drive thru. I was still charged for the food I did not recieve due to the rudeness of this employee so now I have to wait until it clears pending on my credit card to call my credit card company to let them no the purchase was not authorized. I would stay far away from this place and beware if you complain about something the employees confront you the next time you go back. I for one will never go back...
