Kohl's — Local services in Paso Robles

I come to Kohls a few times a year, always during the holiday season. As far as this year goes with the pandemic, I've had no lines during the week to deal with, the store is clean and theres an attendant at the door with sanitizing equipment to clean baskets and carts and you can use the hand sanitizer if you need. Usually the store is always clean and very orderly. Prices are always a bit high but I feel they combat that with sales. They always have extra coupons especially during the Holidays which help greatly. They have great customer service and you can also ship and receive products through Amazon. As far as the departments and products, the junior girls dept is great. The women's dept is not bad. For the junior (young men) and mens... my son and husband ALWAYS have a hard time there. The shoe dept is good but depending on which shoes you are interested in. The toys are very lacking, it's hard to shop there for my kids at Christmas. I recommend shopping online and picking up your items there. Overall, I rate it a 3 short of 4 due to a lack of products and prices...

I had the great honor of being the person to take returns back of the store and pick up the other things that were ordered online. I have to say the process was easy, and handle though so nicely. I do wish that the returns desk was a little closer to the front of the store, but I'm not going to complain about that I'm just happy it's there now after Christmas I came in the store and the lady held up a little stuffed animal and said 50 Cent I thought 2 myself no impulse purchasing Charley no impulse purchasing. So I resisted and said no thank you. I did my return and pick up and came back out front and thought well maybe I do need one of these little stuffed animals. I like to put them in the middle seat belt in the back seat so the people who are riding can find the correct things without fiddling around. So I took one and had a ring it up, as I had come in when the store open I was her first customer. She rang it up I gave her a dollar and the computer said here's your change $0.96. Wow I guess I had to pay $0.04 for that little stuffed animal maybe I should...

I love this Kohls. Their marketing techniques are ingenious! They mark their merchandise higher and then put it on sale so you think you are getting a deal (marketing 101) you rarely pay the original price for anything and THEN they send you 30% off (that makes me go to their store even if I don't need anything! And then they entice you to spend $50 so you will get the Kohls cash to get you back there a 2nd time when you don't need anything! (This location used to allow you to use coupons after the expiration dates. NOT any longer.) But seriously, the staff is nice and usually helpful. Though this last Tuesday there was seriously a staffing issue. And no one apologized for the wait. Finally the jewelry department started taking people but I waited over 15 minutes on a week day around 1PM ??! I also agree that the clothing is extremely disorganized. I'd love to re-do their whole lay-out. They obviously don't have enough staff to keep up with keeping...
