As I presented my items for appraisal, their disdain became palpable. Instead of offering a fair assessment, they proceeded to devalue my gold, citing arbitrary reasons that seemed more like excuses to justify their lowball offer.

When I dared to question their evaluation and express my dissatisfaction, the staff's demeanor turned from dismissive to downright rude. I was still undecided, but she continued to push the sale in a way that felt aggressive and rushed—especially considering the ring I was looking at was a significant investment.

What made matters worse was that she specifically assured me the ring wouldn’t scratch. She even showed me the one she was wearing, claiming it was the same and had held up perfectly. Unfortunately, I noticed scratches on mine the same day I bought it.

Weeks later, I saw her hosting a live TikTok sale and decided to leave a comment: “You told me my ring wouldn’t scratch, and it did.” Instead of responding or addressing it, I was immediately blocked. That alone says a lot. If it had been an honest mistake, I would’ve appreciated some accountability or even a simple apology—not to be silenced. I was also forced into writing a review for a “better price.”
