Yummiest HALAL Gyro/Döner in New Jersey: I recently visited Döner Point with my friends and had a wonderful experience! We ordered the iskender döner and plate döner, as well as Ayran, a yogurt drink. The food was absolutely delicious, and the meat quality was top-notch. The iskender döner was particularly good. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and the yogurt sauce was rich and creamy. The bread was also delicious, and it was a great way to soak up all the delicious juices from the meat and sauce. The plate döner was also very good. The meat was cooked to perfection, and it was very flavorful. The accompanying vegetables were also fresh and delicious. The Ayran was a great accompaniment to the food. It was refreshing and tangy, and it helped to cut through the richness of the meat and yogurt sauce. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Döner Point. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Turkish döner. Personal experience: :: I was particularly impressed with the quality of the meat at Döner Point. It was clear that the restaurant uses only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. :: I also enjoyed the variety of sauces that were available. The yogurt sauce was my favorite, but the garlic sauce and the hot sauce were also very good. :: The service at Döner Point was also excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they made sure that we had everything we needed. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Döner Point. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Turkish döner.

Before the owner claims the pictures were taken after consumption, this was BEFORE consuming any food. The veggies and bread were removed from the platter to see how much meat was actually in there. The receipt also very clearly states that we ordered rice but in the picture, clear as day, there are a handful of fries. The sandwich was also. Wet clearly unbitten and the meat was moved in the second picture to just show the portion they had out into the “1.5” portion of the sandwich. This place is extremely overpriced. My husband and I decided to pickup dinner from here while we were in the area and paid for extra meat in both our platter and sandwich and both had a regular amount of meat. We had also ordered rice with our platter and we were given 7 fries exactly instead. For a $38 plate it was extremely disappointing. There was 1.5 slices of tomato and one piece of soggy bread but no rice. The sandwich had spots with no meet at all in it and we had to supplement from the platter so we weren't eating bread without anything. They also didn't include any yogurt sauce or hot sauce so the food was dry. For an almost $84 meal it was extremely disappointing and frustrating at how cheap they were being considering the price. The meat was flavored well but still didn't justify the price point. The fries were soggy and had no salt on them so we threw the entire container out because they were inedible. The spring rolls were actually cheese rolls and lacked any real flavor. If it wasn't for the errors in our orders and the price not matching the amount of meat we received we would have gone back to give them another try but we definitely will not be returning because we felt extremely cheated. Definitely need to do better for such a popular spot on Main Street in Paterson.

Restaurant Review: "Doner Point" – Fries, Meat, and Service Done Right The Fries: Doner Point’s fries are a revelation. Thin, golden, and crispy, they’re perfectly seasoned with a secret blend of herbs that makes them utterly addictive. Each fry has a satisfying crunch on the outside, with a fluffy interior, and when dipped in their house-made garlic sauce, they become irresistible. These fries are the kind of side dish that you’ll wish came in an endless portion. The Meat: The meat at Doner Point is where the magic truly happens. Whether it's lamb, beef, or chicken, the doner here is juicy, tender, and perfectly cooked. The lamb has a rich, smoky flavor that’s complemented by crispy edges, while the chicken retains surprising moisture and smoky depth. What stands out most is how every bite of meat stays incredibly juicy, thanks to a well-balanced marinade and careful cooking. It's clear the meat is treated with the utmost care, making each bite a savory delight. The Staff: The staff at Doner Point are exceptional — warm, friendly, and genuinely invested in the dining experience. Mert, our server, was both engaging and helpful, offering recommendations with a smile and ensuring we were well taken care of throughout the meal. There’s an obvious sense of teamwork in the air, and it’s clear that the staff takes pride in their work. The hospitality here feels personal, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Conclusion: Doner Point stands out for its outstanding fries, juicy tender meat, and a staff that makes you feel like a valued guest. If you're in the area, this spot is a must-visit for anyone craving quality doner with a side of great service.

Stepping into The Döner Palace was like walking into a meat-lover’s dream, a culinary Valhalla where juicy layers of sizzling perfection spin on towering spits, tantalizing your senses before you even order. Imagine a place where the humble döner is elevated to a level that borders on divine. This restaurant does more than just serve döner; it celebrates it.

The döner itself? I cannot overstate this—it’s the stuff of legend. Succulent cuts of meat that are marinated so deeply that each bite tells a story, perfectly seasoned with a blend of spices that must be the result of ancient, secret recipes. Crispy on the outside and meltingly tender inside, the meat dances with flavors so bold and vibrant they practically sing. The freshness of the meat is evident—this isn’t your average döner; it’s practically farm-to-skewer luxury.

And the bread! Oh, the bread! Light and fluffy, but with a satisfying chew, it’s baked daily to achieve that just-perfect crustiness. Then there’s the symphony of accompaniments: freshly sliced tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and onions that are sweet enough to be dessert. But the sauces! These homemade masterpieces come in levels of spiciness that feel customized, not to mention the cooling yogurt sauce with a hint of garlic that ties every bite together. It’s like a culinary embrace—warm, rich, and unforgettable.

The sides? Perfection. Try the fries, lightly dusted with herbs and spices, or the creamy, perfectly tangy hummus that’s almost worth the trip alone. Every plate here is crafted with care; you feel like you’re dining on art. And the portion sizes? Generous doesn’t even begin to describe it. If you’re coming here hungry, prepare to leave stuffed, yet craving more.

The service, too, deserves a standing ovation. Staff members glide from table to table, managing to be both attentive and delightfully unobtrusive. They treat each customer like a VIP—an experience you rarely find at a döner spot.

In short, The Döner Palace isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a transcendent döner experience, a place where every detail is designed to elevate this beloved dish to heights I didn’t think possible. If you’re within 100 miles, do yourself a favor: go, devour, and then thank me later....
