Henney Tyme Bar and Lounge — Restaurant in Pembroke Park

Oh my where can I begin. Went here because we were seeking a new chill environment and according to the reviews which must be done by friends and locals this place was hands down a horrible decision. There can only be a few reasons why this "lounge" is even open. Loyalty from the locals, New establishment, or a front. Let's start with the missing balls in the pool table at least 4 including the 8 ball. The position of the table was close to impossible to play without hitting someone or messing up your shot due to the awkward angle. Where is the "lounge" it's literally just a hole in the wall with a bar that could have potential but the staff and owner lack that. Now let's discuss the bar......... so $20.24 for 2 crown and coke..... ok that's about average but our drinks were made in front of the cash register with her back towards us and tge coke cane from a 2 litter bottle that wasn't cold, very flat and open bottle pulled from where ever she stored it. Drinks weren't poured right let alone good. The bar tender was overwhelmed with only 2 customers and whatever she had going on with the dancing girls and guy on the side. What she was wearing was disturbing and the whole time we were laughing and just couldn't believe what we were experiencing. It pisses me off that someone can own a place with such potential and let it burn to the ground because it's "just...

Awful. The vibe could have been good if the customer service wasn’t so terrible. It says they closed at 2:00am but they started to kick us out at 1:15am but that wasn’t the problem.. the problem was how they went about doing it. The security told us time to go, my sister was still eating her food, he told her well “u can eat that outside” then i was like well why didn’t u guys say you were closing before i ordered my food (at this point i was waiting on the food i had just ordered 15 mins prior). So since the security wanted us to leave so bad bad… literally rushing us, i asked for a refund. The bartender kept telling me it was almost ready, meanwhile the security still telling us to hurry nd get out along with the dj so she had an attitude. It was a tug or war between her tellin me “wait, the food almost ready” and the security and dj saying “y’all get out” so I’m unsure of why she had an attitude.
