Sadly, poor reviews reflect the entire store vs department. The front operation of the store, very pleasant and the store is organized and easy to find products. At times itâs a little dirty however, I always consider the weather that we had in the last 24-48 hours (it could be partially the reason).
The back operation of the store, the pharmacy is the reason for the poor review. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable (most of the time) but the wait time is ridiculous. The drive thru, is typically a 5 minute wait minimum and have waited up to 25 minutes. Inside the store, lines are just as long and wait is the same. The male pharmacist is knowledgeable however gets annoyed if you ask for clarification on meds when heâs busy. I get it but itâs part of the (your) job, donât be in a customer service position if we are annoying. I have read all the reviews and one would think upper management would get involved at this point. The store manager and district manager should be on top of this complaint with their upper management.
CVS is not the only facility in Pennsburg to have prescriptions filled but itâs very convenient.

Read moreI'm sorry, but since when does CVS not have a public restroom? The staff member who explained this to me was very apologetic and seemed almost embarrassed to deny me the bathroom, but they explained that they had been told by their higher-ups that they were not allowed to let anybody in the public restrooms that they do have on site at this facility. This seems absolutely ridiculous because I don't understand why else they would have restrooms for the public if they are not allowing people from the public to use them, it seems like a cheap excuse to get out of doing the extra work of cleaning the bathrooms, which honestly isn't that hard. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable, this is the first CVS out of and uncountable amount across multiple state lines that I have ever gone to where they told me that I am not allowed to use their restroom facility. They really need to get on top of this because that was downright embarrassing to be denied the ability to use the restroom but for also the employees to have to do so. What is going on with the management at...
Read moreSimply put, they're understaffed. Pharmacies around the country are struggling because the people in charge don't want to hire enough pharmacists to actually keep the place running, so what ends up happening is the pharmacists become overworked and drained. They are less likely to provide adequate service to customers and they're mentally and emotionally suffering. It's no wonder pharmacists going on strike. They're working their hardest to answer the phone, fill prescriptions, tend to the registers, consult with customers, tend the drive-through window, and administer vaccines and COVID tests. That is a ridiculous amount of work to expect from a handful of people and customers and employees alike are suffering because of it. I hope that the employees are taking care of themselves and that they get some additional help soon.
Aside from the pharmacy, the store's products are very overpriced and it can take a while to...
