Having lived away from Peoria for 20 years, I was so happy to see Lippmanns’s Furniture and Interiors still around and thriving and filled with the same quality of beautiful furniture! I bought a set of beds for my children nearly 30 years ago and was looking for a quality bed for a guest bedroom. I was welcomed as I walked in the store and they still had my purchase on file! This time, I purchased a Shifman mattress. It was just a twin size for my guest room. My sales lady visited with me several times about the mattress (I tend to buy on a slower cycle) and one of the owners also dreamed with me about future purchases to add to my wish list from the furniture collections they now carry. The mattress was delivered without a hitch. A couple of months later, I got a call to schedule a time for them to come out and flip my mattress. I recall being so surprised that they’d come out in the cold for just a twin bed! And I had never heard of such a service anyway. I was told they were happy to do it! When the fellas came out, they were joyful (even willing to take their shoes off when entering my home). They were explained to me that because the mattresses in this line are hand made, periodically flipping the mattress was beneficial not just for a better sleep, but for the life of the product long term. And whether it was “just” a twin bed like mine, or a king sized bed, I’m a valued Lippmann’s customer. I really can’t say enough about their class, professionalism, expertise, their patience and hospitality. I found myself laughing with several of the sales associates on several occasions, and even when I’ve stopped by just to have a look around (the store set up is lovely) I have felt welcomed and valued. They hold to the tried and true commitment to good customer (blue chip) service, the importance of being a community partner, and building long term client relationships. They still carry quality top notch.brands! I hope they keep going for generations to come. More stores should take notice!!! I’ll definitely be back for more purchases! 5...

We recently reconnected with Ben Bladell at Lippmann's. After decades in a very large home, we're downsizing. Much of that home was furnished with Lippmann's pieces which we brought after consultation and guidance from Ben. We found after 25 years of use, it all still looked so new. Knowing we'd be downsizing, we passed along much of that furniture to family and friends (a little heartbreaking for us but enthusiastically received by several lucky families). So again, Lippmann's was our first and only stop when it comes to furnishing our apartment. We were elated to find that Ben Bladell is still going strong helping furniture shoppers. Our experience with Ben then and now, is that somehow he draws out what we gravitate towards and are comfortable with. Honestly I didn’t think I was giving him much to go on this time. Since I wasn't set on a definite look or color I couldn't articulate much direction. I don't know how he does it, but he listens must find a nugget here and there and uses it. He guided us to pieces and colors we loved!!! I look forward to additional help from Ben to get it all pulled together once all of our pieces arrive. Our very successful Lippmann’s shopping experience began with wanting to have the seats replaced on 2 sets of 4 wooden dining chairs equaling 8 all together. I spoke to Diane on the phone, who referred me to Lisa. Lisa and I texted back and forth creating an excellent time for pondering many options that my husband and I are extremely excited about and in 100% agreement.
