Where do I begin I reached out to them about a week ago because I was having an issue with my dryer it was turning on but not heating and I wanted to get it fixed I without research chose Mr appliance I spoke to the receptionist and she said within the next few days that a person would come out that person was Ryan he told me that it was a faulty heating element the diagnosis was not $125 like other people's but $150 I stupidly agreed to that and paid he told me that in the next few days they'd come out with the parts and get it installed he came out a few days later with only one half of the part and said that he'd have to make another appointment and get the other one put in well he ended up getting sick apparently and it got pawned off into another technician okay I guess, well that new Jeffrey did a new diagnosis of his own said that it was the timer not even heating element they were not very clear to me on the price whether I'd have to pay the full dishonest diagnosis and the new one or just the new one or what was going on with that, Jeffrey the technician got visibly upset with me for asking about price but I reluctantly agreed and he said the office would reach back out to me once the part was ordered and they'd get it put in. I got a confirmation receipt of the bill I'm being charged for Ryan's false diagnosis the labor fee and the new diagnosis the part and the labor fee what should have been at most of $340 bill it was made out to 500 something dollars, I call the receptionist and asked her to elaborate the bill with me she said let me get on it to hold on a second and then she just hung up on me didn't ask my name or nothing. I'm an independent contractor myself and I wouldn't even fathom scamming people the way that they just scammed me out of my $150 or at all that's bad business period. Save yourself the headache and money and go anywhere else do your research too its sad I had such high...
Read moreTechnician was not familiar with my dishwasher, vocalized his lack of knowledge but then failed to contact a coworker to gain information. He did not assess thoroughly the appliance. He added up a few parts on his iPad and said it would be more than the dishwasher, and recommended buying a new one, and that was it. He was on his way. Later I had a friend come by that’s not a repairman, and we opened the dishwasher apart and were successful ourselves based off the manual. I would never hire this company again. The way I see it, it cost me 15 min of his visit, and the $109 service fee- Sadly, completely wasted time and money. I then decided to contact the company and voice my concern that I felt kind of, "scammed" and not ultimately helped, and to shed light on a technician not well versed/ potentially needing additional education. They seemed receptive and helpful and promised they talk to their supervisor and get back to me. After 4 days I called back to follow up not hearing from them, and Katie was very defensive and argumentative. I am in no interest of that, and stated I appreciated her take, however I was not satisfied with the lack of service, and thought the business would like to be made aware. I quickly found them off a google search, which is unlike me but thought I’d give this company a try. I will not make this mistake again. I will stick with the trusted and known professionals in the Peoria area. Unless you have a run of the mill appliance, and no more than an elementary issue, I would hire another...
Read moreThe only good thing I can say is they did come out and diagnose same day and he was very friendly. We needed the repair so put money down on the part. My house smells like cigarettes still two weeks later. Fast forward , the part finally came in. They tried to schedule me for 115 pm , I was clear that would not work, we agreed on 8 am. I called back and confirmed that 8 am would work. O made arrangements to go into work late to let them in. They never showed up, instead when I called they said I never called and confirmed. I told them to listen to the recorded calls. They told me they’d get someone right there but he was coming from Bloomington (40 min away, this was at 825 am) and would come to my repair first. I had to leave so have my older son come over , by but told them he had to leave by 1130. 940 am and still no one , I called again and they said he was still on the way, 1030 am still nothing, at this point I’m am extremely upset, called back and was hung up on. Called again and no answer so called from a different number and they answered. The repair man did not show up until almost 1 pm. This is the most unpleasant and unprofessional place I have ever dealt with. I asked for a manger to call me twice and that never happened either. Now the repair is finally done and my house smells like marijuana….Do not waste your money here. I’d even pay extra to deal with a more...
