Very upset about an incident that happened yesterday while I was shopping/spending money at target in Peoria. I had gotten out to my car after checking out and realized I had left my phone in my cart. Went back into the store and asked customer service if anyone had turned a phone in. The girl at the counter was kind of rude and said “when” I simple said like right now I just realized I forgot my phone in the cart and she said “no we don’t have any phones”. Went and looked through the carts again but my cart had already been taken. So I went back to the counter and talked with the other girl and just simple asked if she could make an announcement to see if anyone had it in their cart. And she replied “no I can’t do that”. So I basically just stood and continued to search the carts. Which was hard since I had my 8 month old Baby in my arms. And not once did any of the employees come over and offer to help. The only people that helped was other customers. And both girls at customer service were not busy the entire time. Just really upset about how they handled the situation. Couldn’t help a mom out with her baby. I realize it was my fault that I forgot it but they made sure not to go out of their way to even help and were very rude. The only nice thing that did happen is I got to use the phone to call my mom to come help me and we finally found it. Really sad the...
Read moreThis store is the armpit of Target stores, as is management and obviously regional managers are just as inferior at properly managing a store. You’ll wait in line for easily 20-30 minutes on busy days. (I’ve set timers and taken time stamped pictures of my progression thru line as well.) They’ve single-handedly gotten NUMEROUS Shipt shoppers fired because this store does not follow proper procedure and refuse to checkout Shipt shoppers which results in being late which Shipt does not forgive for any reason. I’ve counted more than 30 individuals locally with awesome customer ratings be fired because of the timing of THIS store. In addition, the store looks disheveled most days, shelves have numerous empty spots, meat selection is all expired or goes out of date within 1-2 days. While many of the associates are as sweet as can be and I’m not even slightly upset with them. They all do the best they can (usually). But I will not be surprised when I read this store eventually closes. I remember the day the manager thought he’d done something big by putting a “Shipt bagging station” basically in the self checkout line, in the middle of all the customers, which you have to circle back around the front of the store to get to. That’s the level of forethought here. The flow of East Peoria vs Peoria is night and day. If I ever set foot in a Target again, it’ll be...
Read moreI had a really disappointing experience at Target today. I bought my daughter a pair of shorts for her 9 AM soccer game, but the fitting rooms don’t even open until 10 AM—even though the store itself opens at 8. That meant we couldn’t try them on before purchasing. We took them home, popped the tags off to try them on, and realized they didn’t work. When I went to return them same day, Target refused because the tags were removed.
It’s frustrating that a multi-billion-dollar company can’t take back a $12 pair of shorts, mark them down, and move on. Instead, the customer is stuck with something they can’t use. On top of that, having employees wait until 10 AM to open fitting rooms feels like pure laziness. If the store is open, the fitting rooms should be open too—otherwise, what’s the point of selling clothes that early in the morning?
Terrible policy and a very disappointing way to...
