Starbucks — Restaurant in Peoria

Ordered a tall hot pistachio latte. Nobody called for 20 minutes. I went to the counter and asked if there was a problem with my order because several people who ordered after me had already been served. She said my order was next. So I sat down again. Ten minutes later someone called my name saying that my order had been waiting the whole time. My latte was no longer hot. I said nobody had called me. My son who was with me was my witness. All she had to say was sorry about that. No offer to heat up my cold coffee or make a new one. I said Ma’am it is not right. She said again sorry about that. I walked out in disgust and dumped my cold coffee outside. At least please refund my tip. All this happened about an hour ago and facts can be verified. Order was placed under Ishan. Had to cancel my mobile order due to the morning staff feeling understaffed. Ever since the “pandemic” it has been a common practice for Starbucks across the country to over utilize. I realize I’m a minority when my vehicle doesn’t have the turning radius to opt for the drive-thru. Also, I travel full time so it’s nice to have a lobby to do my morning work. Now that the “pandemic” is over you should have to open the full store or don’t open at all. Management and corporate need to do better.

Corporate seems to be pushing to do away with lobbies all over with the exception of college towns. Remodels are making lobbies smaller and new stores are being built without them.

Not a smart move Starbucks. The only thing that separates you from the competition has been your lobbies. Coffee is much better...

Tried this location for the first time and the person working the drive thru was soooo kind! She was friendly and even asked about my day which was awesome. Left her a tip and she was so happy! Tried the new summer berry drink and the Boba and the drink itself was very sour, not as refreshing as you would think it would be for a summer drink. Tried the new cold foam white chocolate macadamia nut and it didn’t taste like macadamia nut at all, it tasted coffee flavored which was odd.
