Don’t waste your time. Maria who claimed she was the only one who worked in the office. Told us when we asked if we could look at the facilities and kind of choose an area that we would like our loved one to be buried. She said that is not an option that during Covid, which was years ago they started putting people at the very back of the facility and that’s just the way it is OK and I quote her. I replied no it’s not OK and she continued what she was doing ignoring me. Feeling like our hands were tied, I thought I would give her the benefit of the doubt and see where she placed us. We ended up at the very back of the facility near an empty dirt field that has piles of dirt/weeds all over and near all the equipment, which is visible when you’re there to visit and grieve. The plot she ended up giving us is not easily accessible to handicap people which we have quite a few in our family. So, having them visit will be nearly impossible. The ground is very unlevel and not well kept and is also barren and yellow around the plot. We were heartbroken. There were many other plots in the similar area that were a lot nicer that she could’ve given us. She did also state that the groundskeepers. I think that’s what they’re called were the ones who were going to pick the spot. But listening to her on the phone. She is the one who picked out where we were going to go. She made a very difficult time for us even worse. You also have to collect anything you’ve placed on the gravesite name plaque, Because you’re not allowed to place anything on the grass, You have to collect it every Wednesday or they will throw everything you have away. She was difficult uncaring, and definitely had an attitude with us. I only gave it one star because I had two to get this post review on. But don’t waste your time. Maria at Perris cemetery is very rude. And very discriminating toward me and my family. I paid a good amount of money to lay my son to rest. Never expected to go through this ordeal with Maria at office. I called several places Riverside county and city hall and they assured me if any more problems arise I can contact the numbers given to me by them and they will help me resolve any new arising problems I am very unhappy with this cemetery and disappointed .save yourselfs from more pain and agony very unpleasant people working in Perris cemetery. You have a right to choose your loved ones grave side look for availability don't go by what they say they lie. They have no control how to manage a viewing let alone proceedings please think twice from my experience don't fall in their hands.you need to be respected with dignity.dont let them rob you...
