I go to only 3 businesses in this Plaza, L.A. Nails, Tea House, and the cleaners. I have been going to L.A. Nails every 3 weeks to have my acrylic fingernails kept up and a pedicure for over 5 yrs now. Julie, the owner, and her team are awesome. If you go long enough, they get to know how you like your nails and feet to look. If you have ingrown toenail and callous problems, like I do, they are very much ontop of it without you telling them everytime you go in. If you prefer one person or team to do your nails and/or pedicure you must request them with your appt to make sure they are the ones you get. I have one I prefer for my fingernails and another for my peds. Also, it's best to make an appt especially, if it is Thus thru Sat. They are closed on Sun or if it is a special occasion. They do alot of special school events, i.e. prom, Christmas plays, etc. or any holiday; New Year's, Valentine's, 4th of July, etc. If you want to be a regular customer: ALWAYS, make an appt, or you may not get the day or time that is convenient. Remember: walk-ins are available, but if they have appts, the appts get priority. If you want it done that day...call ASAP to see if they can make an appt or if they will take you as a walk-in. While you are at L A. Nails, or the excellent dry cleaners, it is a great opportunity to drop by the newest business at the Plaza, The Tea House. You will experience tea like you've never tried before, unless you have already discovered them. Very unusual teas in unimaginable tastes. There are so many you could go everyday for 6 months w/o having the same one, and they have plain hot and ice tea in whatever kind of tea you want, oolong, black tea, white tea, green tea, Earl Grey, matcha, a variety of herbal teas, etc. They are a bit pricey, but worth treating yourself as often as you can afford it. The dry cleaners in the Plaza is awesome. They will do a fantastic job on all your necessities. I believe they offer laundry facilities too, but I don't know for sure. You'd have to call to make sure on anything other than dry cleaning. I have only used their dry cleaning services and have been very pleased with their work. They will give you an advanced pricing if you ask on any of their services. Hope this helped you on some of our local businesses. Support our community by...
Read moreIts a shopping mall area. It's dated. Not as new as the area in south Perris. There used to be a Round Table Pizza here, but they closed up shop in 2012 or so. May be due to high crime OR declining sales or both. Big Lots used to be there too in 2007 or so, that closed down as well. All of these stores are still open in other cities. Staters is cheap in price for a few things and I always go there for eggs since they carry Egglands Best Organic Omega 3 brown eggs. Winco does not carry them. And I can get a dozen for $4.50 or so. I get those eggs for my mom. The Starbucks is across the street next to (near) Ihop. This is probably good marketing since the high schoolers would all be going to Starbucks to hangout near Staters if the Starbucks was in the same shopping area. Big 5 is here and so is DD's. DD's has stuff just like Wal-mart- same prices. But the staff might be more friendly than Wal-Mart staff. Donut place here as well..but be warned. Homeless ppl hang around that donut shop. They ask for money too. If they are not homeless, they fit the bill. I work with the homeless 25 hrs a week so I know the signs. I go here to Staters when I just need 1 or 2 things or if I need to send a fax at Postal Annex. Other than that I get most of my shopping done at Winco on my days off from work or...
Read moreI'm giving 4 stars because of the continued amazing customer service from Christy in the dressing room. The rest of the staff really needs to get customer service skills from Christy. For example, two associates were talking and using profanity while working. I thought this was very rude and unprofessional, but not uncommon. The store is overcrowded with items, some good and some bad. Overall, it's a great place to go shop for cheap clothes if you are in the market for that. The pet section is typically messy (like the rest of the store), but you can find some good finds. The bottom line is DDs is a good place to go if you have a long want-list and a short...
