Perris Buffet Review: A Disappointing Dining and Hygiene Experience

My recent visit to Perris Buffet left much to be desired, as both the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the establishment fell far below expectations.

Despite its seemingly high rating, the atmosphere was lackluster from the moment I stepped in. However, it was the quality of the food that truly disappointed. The dishes tasted old, stale, and lukewarm, lacking the freshness one would expect. Even worse, many items emitted unpleasant odors, making them unappetizing.

To exacerbate matters, obtaining a refund proved to be a cumbersome process, adding frustration to an already unsatisfactory visit. Additionally, even the hand sanitizer provided had an off-putting smell, resembling rotten fruit. This indicated a concerning lack of attention to cleanliness and hygiene.

It’s baffling that Perris Buffet holds an A rating, as my experience did not reflect such a commendable standard. I really enjoy coming here for a good dinner, just noticed this last weekend that prices have gone up. I fully understand it will go up with everything going up. But I think as it goes up they need to also provide a clean restaurant. The restrooms are not quite clean nor updated, they don’t have a changing table for babies instead they have a regular table. Very unsanitary. If your prices are going up i should have a great service and that includes the restrooms. That also includes restocking the food and not having others ask more than 3 times. I love coming here but there needs to be a change. Especially with these new prices. You guys ask for a favor from us when you have these napkin holders say this, then do us the favor and do better as well. I hope the restroom ain’t the same as the kitchen…...

This place was pleasantly surprising. The food is excellent and not very expensive. The selection was very good, not the biggest I've ever seen but decent. What impressed me is the quality of all of the options. I tried several of the sushi rolls, and they were all very good and very fresh. The Mongolian barbecue area had a very good selection (no eggs though). I didn't see any empty platters anywhere in the buffet line - they did a really good job, keeping things stocked. I really like the self-serve soda machines - nobody is trying to hustle you for a tip which always seems dumb at a buffet - and there's no waiting for drink refills.
