I have been going to the gentleman at Meyers Lake barbershop ever since i was a little boy. They have cut my hair for 40 years. As much as the plaza has changed over the years they have remained the same. Genuinely nice guys who are funny and engaging when getting your haircut. As a kid I was excited not only to get a haircut but they would have a drawer full of dum-dum suckers and they still do to this day. Their prices are amazing compared to what I see and hear other places charge. I have had plenty of memories with my dad and brother going there and I am happy to have been a loyal customer for 40 years...
Read moreI think there is a lot of underrated stores here in this plaza. Roses has amazing deals and being next to big lots, dollar general and save a lot is really nice because if you can't find an item the next store probably has it. The meat market here has interesting finds, check it out and the staff is friendly.
This plaza needs a makeover to compete with belden, the parking lot is super large, it needs some repair, perhaps make use of the space with food trucks in the summer or host a carnival/festival.
Meyers Lake was really something a long time ago, treat this property with respect and Canton...
Read moreDilapidated Strip Mall that is very grungy in appearances (not in a good way) with the over-sized (and always empty) asphalt parking lot being the extent of the "landscape design." It's a total shame considering the massive site is adjacent to a beautiful minor lake (Meyers Lake). You of course can't see the lake at all from this wasteland of a shopping plaza; let alone access any sort of waterfront, or boardwalk. This place be a mixed shopping and residential and public space area (aka a Town Center) for the adjacent neighborhoods and the Village and of Meyers...
