Meyers Landing Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Ohio

We ordered fried mushrooms for an app and each ordered beer battered fish with garlic mashed potatoes and their coleslaw. The mushrooms were rubbery from being overcooked. The garlic mashed and coleslaw we did not eat. The coleslaw was just disgusting to us. Maybe just a bad batch. The garlic mashed potatoes had the appearance that they had mixed them with a tub of butter. They were SOOOO buttery you couldn’t eat them. And didn’t even taste like garlic. The fried fish we received was very good and a saving grace that kept us from complaining. So we ended up spending over $50 with 20% tip for six pieces of beer battered fish.

The service was not bad and not great. Just good enough. The bartender was our server, which makes sense because we were the only table in the restaurant and there were 4 people at the bar combined from inside and outside. She took care of us, but that’s about it.

Overall we wanted to enjoy this place but I can’t justify coming back. Not when we spent over $50 for six...

Went for the first time today. Took awhile before we got service to get drinks. We go to place our orders, she tells us they are out of 2 items that were on our top list, so we order another item. The cook came out and said they were out of what we ordered, so we ordered another item. The steak was over done, the burger was missing mayo, the boneless wings were cut up chicken strips it seemed and not even breaded, my salad was ordered with no tomatoes (I am allergic), it came with at least 6 cherry tomatoes. Us girls ordered crown apple and ginger ale. Tasted like we ordered ginger ales with no crown. One of the guys ordered a Michelob light bottle and it had some kind of funky stuff on the outside of the bottle. The fries and the pretzel bites were pretty good. I understand being out of items due to the COVID and not receiving items, however, make the rest the best! The bathroom was out of paper towels too. We may try it again once COVID relaxes, but definitely wasn't a good...

Went on name that tune night. Game was super fun unfortunately the service was terrible. Asked for a water with my alcoholic beverage and never recieved it. Attempted to order food but we couldn't get our waitress to come back to the table. Attempted to order at the bar to no avail and was ignored. Had to wave at waitress many times only to be continually ignored. Ended up ordering one drink while being there for 2 hours for name that tune. The drink tasted like water was added to the liquor. Will probably never go back. Seems like this bar caters to regulars but completely ignores...
