I’m not one to air my complaint on FB; however, I’m compelled to share my experience today with Mobley Furniture. Buying furniture is a significant investment and when buying what you believe to be heirloom quality furniture you expect that it will stand the test of time. My experience with Mobley Furniture is disappointing at best – we spent significant $$$$ on a dining room set that we expected to last(at least our lifetime)…we use our dining room furniture 2 to 3 times a year. We purchased this set in 2008 and with our limited use, the set should still be in new condition, however, the covering on our chairs (which was advertised as leather by the salesman and even on the invoice) has disintegrated (see pictures) We approached the management at Mobley Furniture to voice our concerns and request that they recover the chairs (which seemed reasonable) – We were blown off completely. We have been spent significant money at Mobley over the last 10-15 years and expected a little more consideration. I’m deeply disappointed in the quality of the furniture and the fact that they still carry the brand. It would not have cost that much to to recover the chairs and remedy this situation. It will cost them much more in the loss of my future business as I will no longer patronize this store due to lack of quality products and customer service. Read moreSo my mother in law and I visited several furniture stores on "Black Friday", 2019. One of the stops were Mobley's Furniture in Perry Georgia. I would like to start out by saying some of the Furniture was truly nice i was particularly interested in the Hooker Fine Furniture Line to see if I could possibly get a better package deal on the Corsica bed room group in the near future by ordering from a local retailer. Sad to say I will never return to buy anything from this store based on the customer service alone. First upon arrival we were seen by someone who worked in the store before we opened the door not one greeting was exchanged. we continued to browse in the store and seen several associates some were moving about and another was dealing with a customer still nothing said not even a hello , can i help you guys find anything. At this point we were both floored by the lack of concern so we decided we were done with them as a whole. On the way out finally some guy asked did we find everything OK uh no! Sad part is that we experienced great customer service at Turners in Warner Robins and attentive customer service at Rooms to go in Macon. We all know the about quality of mass produced stuff from there but we were still treated like we actually existed and our business mattered now and in future endeavors. I didn't see my post that you removed because your company delivered damaged furniture in which you stated was not damaged. 1. I do not care if the furniture was purchased from "the budget center or the fine furniture section". I work hard for my money and spent thousands at your budget center. In my opinion your entire store is considered a budget center. If you value customer service then it should not matter which area it is purchased from and should be valued as the others. Apparently you don't value customer service to stoop that low to make that comment. Your comment is condescending and shows that you dont take pride in selling your budget furniture. 2. You are a flat out lied about exchanging the second delivery stating that the first delivered set was returned to the store. That is a lie. All of the original pieces are still in my home EXCEPT for the Chester drawer. Once again, it is not my fault that your budget center sell damaged items.
