This is going to be a compounded review of two visits, but basically my wife, and I wanted to go get red lobster one day, and when we walked in, we weren't exactly greeted, we waited by the door for a little bit and we were sat at a table, and the server we received came up to our table and asked, what do we want in a very rude tone? No, hello, how are you doing? My name is dot dot dot just what do you want? This sounded very sandoffish for me and I wanted to leave immediately, but my wife insisted we stay for a little bit when we ordered our drinks the drink. I received it was covered in butter. It's dirty on the inside and completely the wrong drink. When the server came back to take our order. She looked at my wife rudely and said with a rude tone what you want? My wife and I have both been in the military and have seen all walks of life. We do not judge whatsoever, but for you to work in some form of service that involves dealing with customer service on a regular basis.I would hope you would say something more than what you want? I literally cannot make this up. She had the worst customer service. I had seen in such a long time, and I am a manager myself for a different industry. My wife has been a nurse for years. As well as I've worked for many restaurants, we are actually in the process currently of opening our own restaurant. Because of the sheer fact that many surrounding restaurants covering Perry and Warner Robbins have employees in the front of the house that arent trained in kindness compassion or they don't have any genuine work ethic? Or know how to behave at work versus at home. When we decided to give red lobster one more try, we came in. And yeah, lo and behold, the same server became our server. My wife immediately told management. We want another server and they were happy to accommodate. We got two sodas, no appetizer and ordered the feast that was 42.99. It took a very long time for us to get our food and we got it in waves. We got our sides and our shrimp dishes first, after about 10 2 15 minutes, I received my steak. That was very much undercooked, and went back, and my wife never received her lobster tail until we were about to leave. Our server was Nikki tonight, and she was a delight. We do not blame the poor food quality and the ability to get food to the table. In a timely manner on her. This is not a first time we had issues with receiving food on time or even the right food. From the feast, we ordered a steak, a lobster tail, Shrimp Scampi. Shrimp Alfredo, asparagus and yeah, loaded Mac. But we only ate the shrimp scampi, the shrimp alfredo and the asparagus. We were still nearly charged thirty seven dollars for a couple of side items. Apparently, aren't the original server? We were given that we asked to be replaced, had told the staff that she you know, I used to work with my wife at a sunny's, and they get into it all the time. First off, that is no excuse for your poor behavior when a table is sitting in your section and you have beef with them. Secondly, my wife never worked at a sunnys She's been a nurse for years. She taught kindergarten for a couple years. And then she worked in a couple restaurants, but never a sunny's. It seemed like the entire staff move slower than molasses. It took them 45 minutes just to get us. Our check We had been sitting there for over an hour and a 1/2 just staring at each other, waiting for a check or waiting for food or waiting on something. And every dish that was brought out had to be essentially sent back It was a very appalling experience. Servers, unfortunately, are only able to do so much as part of your experience in a restaurant. The rest of it lies with management and yeah, the cooks in the back of the house. A restaurant is essentially a well-oiled machine. If each aspect of the restaurant is not working together appropriately to provide an awesome experience than everyone will fail at some point. I do not recommend red lobster in Perry. To anyone, it has been an awful experience Every single time we...
Read moreI really hate to write this review because the manager and hostess were amazing, but here goes. My husband and I decided to go to Red Lobster for our Valentine’s Day dinner because we have not been in a while. We arrived at 7pm on 2/14/2025, the hostess asked if we were okay with sitting at a table because they had a few people waiting on a booth. We told her a table is perfect because we aren’t picky people. I didn’t get her name but she was very friendly.
Fast forward to us being seated at 7:08pm, our server Jennifer (she never introduced herself, I only know her name because of our receipt) came to get our drink orders at 7:12pm. Just from placing our drink orders, I knew she wasn’t a friendly person. She acted as if she was annoyed that we were there, she rolled her eyes multiple times, she cut us off every time we asked a question… But I didn’t let that bother me, I remained friendly and polite to her. We went ahead and placed our food order at 7:19. Around 5 minutes later, she brought out my drink from the bar and my husband’s sweet tea. I noticed the glass with his sweet tea was filthy with food on it from the dishwasher. (I know because I was a server at a Red Lobster in a different state.) We didn’t complain because my husband wasn’t bothered by it. 20 minutes go by, still no food and my husband’s cup is empty. He tried to stop her to ask for a refill, Jennifer kept walking right past him as if he didn’t say a word to her. We brushed it off thinking she’s just busy with her hands full, no biggie. She walks back by and he asks her again, she didn’t say a word; just shook her head yes. So at this point I’m about done with her unprofessionalism. Jennifer is being incredibly rude and dismissive to not just us, but to all of her guest.
We continue to wait. Here it is 8:55pm when we stopped her and asked her how long for our food. I ordered an appetizer (lobster pizza) as my meal and my husband ordered a steak, no way it takes 2 hours to bring that out. I know because once again, I served at a Red Lobster. I asked will it be out by 9pm because we are no longer willing to wait. Jennifer said and I quote “probably not but I can take it off and bring you your check instead”. I told her “that’s fine because this is ridiculous”. I guess that really made her mad because now she’s being extremely rude and unprofessional to the point, I asked for her manager. The manager comes out (I forgot his name) and was very apologetic and tried to accommodate us. He said that he can have what we ordered out in 2 minutes if we were willing to stay. We chose not to take him up on that offer just by how nasty Jennifer treated us. My thing is, if the manager can have our food that we ordered 2 hours ago out in 2 minutes; why couldn’t our food be brought out in a timely manner from the start? We paid for our drinks and still left her a tip, despite how she treated us.
All in all, I don’t think we will visit this location ever again. & Jennifer should not be working in customer service and with the public with mannerisms like that. I’m sure she ruined a few others Valentine’s Day dinner just by the conversations amongst others in...
Read moreI have been meaning to come here and write this review since Mothers Day weekend. It had been a few years since we have eaten at Red Lobster. We had been craving the cheese biscuits and some good crab legs. The first thing we noticed when walking in was that the place was almost empty. I thought that was unusual for a Mothers Day weekend. The second thing we noticed was a moldy smell. It didn't set the mood for sure. This is why I gave the atmosphere 3 stars. The biscuits that we had been craving were mediocre. They were not warm and tasted like they had been sitting a very long time. The food took almost an hour to get to the table. My Mom ordered fish and chips. The fish was completely nonedible. They were extremely greasy and tasted like cardboard. We are the kind of people that do not like to complain and will normally just eat what comes to the table but like I said, it was not even edible. The waitress was very nice. She let my Mom order something else and took the fish off the bill. My daughter and I LOVE crab legs so that is what we ordered. I do not know how to describe the taste or texture of the crab legs we received other than they were completely tasteless. We did eat them because we didn't want my husband to feel bad since he brought us there for Mothers Day-LOL. but I have to say, they were the worst crab legs I have ever put in my mouth and I have eaten an abundant amount of crab legs in my lifetime. My daughter told me later she was very disappointed as well. Additionally, the potatoes that came with our meal were so greasy, we couldn't eat them. On a better note, my husband ordered sirloin steak and said he enjoyed his food and the waitress was nice which is why I gave the service 3 stars. If I could give the food zero stars, I would. I'm sorry but times are hard. We spent $200 there. Never ever again. I would not recommend anyone go to this establishment and spend their hard earned money. I will be surprised if they are still in business this...
