I have shopped at Krogerās for years but after todayās encounter I will not be shopping with them anymore. As I was shopping I went down the wine isle to get some wine for Christmas gifts.. I saw a sign that said Buy one n get one for 1. The top price said 10.97 and the bottom price said 9.97.. Myself n two other women thought it was get two for 10.97. We proceeded to shop and said that was a phenomenal deal because they NEVER put Stella Rose on sale.. I got to my cashier 7 and before I started putting my stuff on the belt , I told her to give me the price for the wine because the sign says buy one n get one for a dollar..she said ok.. as I was getting ready to pay. I asked her what was the price of the wine.. she said 10.97..I said so I guess they gave me both bottles for 10.97.. she said looks like they did. I said if they didnāt I will go to customer service..After I paid n looked at my receipt, I was charged 10.97 per bottle..I went to customer service n told her what was going on⦠she said let me go check.. she came back in said u have to clip your coupon and pay with pay pal to get it for that price.. I said I donāt have a problem doing that.. She said but I canāt refund the wine.. I said I never left the store n your cashier failed to give me the price when I asked her..I then asked to speak to the manager.. Melinda came and before even hearing what happened she quickly said I can not give you your money back.. Iām trying to tell her the cashier failed to provide me with the correct price.. she continued to be loud n when I got loud she said get out n leave my store.. I said no mam but I will call 911 and she said it does not matter they are not going to do anything About it.. The Officer come n I explained what happen and as we are talking.. Melinda the manager said can I intervene so nicely like she had not done anything and said u only get 1 dollar off not buy one get one for a 1.. I said so u only get a 1 off n she said yes.. she still failed to acknowledge that her cashier was in the wrong..I told the ofc.. donāt worry about n I was good n I left.. The customer service of the manage was unacceptable on all levels.. she did not try to solve the situation and when I asked her for the number she act like she did not know where it was at but when the first customer rep came she gave it to me instantly..Melinda was very unprofessional and by the way she treated me this is not her first time acting this way..I will say this from this point I will video all transactions that are done at THIS Kroger..Very unprofessional and is not knowledgeable of the policy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the worst Kroger I've ever shopped at and unfortunately it's the closest to my home. Each time I find myself hoping for improvements but each time it magically gets worse. It's always a mess, employees stack stuff in the aisles so you can't even get to what you came to buy, nothing is ever priced correctly, associates don't monitor expiration dates and I've actually brought food home that was almost a year past its expiration date, there's always cardboard and packing material strone throughout the store creating tripping hazards, things aren't stocked correctly so more often than not they have 12 versions of one thing and no variety because the person ordering isn't paying attention to what is actually out of stock, the produce section is never fully stocked lacking basic staples and then once you've braved the aisles and rummaged through the unorganized chaotic mess you get to check out where half the cashiers are on their phones while ringing up your purchases and if you're lucky they'll only scan your items twice, once I actually paid for the same can of beans three times because the cashier was too busy doing things other than her job to correct her mistake and I didn't catch her error until I'd already gotten home. At this Kroger, you'll only find half of what you need, it might be expired and half of the cashiers will let you know what an inconvenience your shopping at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis has to be one of the WORST experiences I've Ever had at a Kroger. I came her on Thursday afternoon, got 10 items, and went to self check out. After I scanned all 10 items the machine said that 10 were scanned and it would not let me continue to check out. So that's when a Young Black girl comes over with an attitude and says, " Can you move"ā¼ļø That's when I tell her if you can't ask me Nicely or say "EXCUSE" me then I'm now Moving, simple as thatā¼ļø I told her that's NOT how you talk to customers especially when people like me keep you with a jobā¼ļøā¼ļø of course a little white boy comes over sounding like Lil Whyte (š¤£š¤£) Trying to explain to me that's its her and a white woman job to watch customers at self check out and I told him that's not my issue!! My issue is the black girl stand in my face telling me that " Can you moveāļø She didn't have to disrespect me but she felt like she Couldš¤¦š¾āāļøā¼ļø š¤”'s like her Don't deserve to be working with the publicā¼ļø Once I my items were verified No one apologized for the big confusion or the number of items being correct ā¼ļø I wouldn't go back here, i can spend my money...
