New Hope Animal Rescue Center — Local services in Petal

This is a new and upcoming non-profit rescue that is privately owned and sustains itself on donations. I just got a puppy there about a week ago and everyone was very friendly. The woman that started the rescue, Jessie Cardona is an amazing woman and really cares about the animals. Dogs/puppies are 150$ utd on shots and spay/neuter. Cats/kittens are 85$ utd on shots and spay/ neuter. All animals are also treated for fleas and heartworms. I highly recommend adopting or donating to this fantastic rescue. They need our help so they can help these animals. Some of these animals were abandoned on the side of road, dumped in dumpsters, some have come in from being hit by cars or even shot with guns. I'm very happy with the puppy we chose. He is 3 months old Aussie mix and 20lbs. He was abandoned on the side of the road and very skinny. He is thriving now! I will post a picture of him. This rescue also has a website and Facebook page. You can donate money or supplies. They take in a lot of puppies and kittens that need formula because of how young they are.
