Disappointing at best. I dropped my 2020 Remedy off to have the level 2 service done to it. I had upgraded the dropper post to a Reverb at the end of '20 season. When I was wheeling the bike out of the store. I pressed the seat down to be more compact on my car. It was extremely difficult to press down and didn't even get it all the way down. I thought to myself, it was just the service. Maybe just needs to loosen up... I should have never taken it out of the store. But I continued home. When I got the bike unloaded, I actuated the seat post. It took about 2 seconds to reach the full extension (normally takes a fraction of a second). From that point on, the seat post was stuck! So I drove the 90 minute (one way) commute back to the store. Only to be told that they are not assuming any responsibility for the broken part. It worked perfectly fine when I dropped it off. And was broken when I picked it up. Seems like it happened under their care. Again, I SHOULD NOT HAVE LEFT THE STORE WITH IT. They did offer to fix it - for a charge. Guess that's one way to get repeat business. I declined. So, now I'm faced with wasting more time and spending more money fixing something I didn't break. I've owned at least one Trek for my entire adult life (24 years). I was a huge advocate of the brand. But now I see that they are no different than any other big box brand, only concerned with their bottom line. And will definitely be looking at other makes before my next purchase. Two take a ways. First, look over your bike before exiting the store. If something seems off. Do not leave the store. Second, support your local bike shop! All of the small shops I've dealt with in the past actually care about their customers. And will...

Read moreI enjoyed finding out that this store is the same business from which I bought my two Trek bicycles and prior to those, a Schwinn, but when the store was located in Castle Shannon. It is nice to know that this respected store is now located so close to home. When I inquired about getting my bike serviced, I was treated by some professional and genuinely honest appraisal discussion by John Majors at the store. Every item he suggested that needed replacement, I was already expecting the same. Also, I appreciated the step-by-step review, which included comments along the way regarding aspects of my bike that were still in good working order.Repairs took less that one week, and I was able to take advantage of the winter special, saving a few dollars. I love the look of the new Bontrager tires, especially given that the previous tires were dry-rotted. Also got new brake pads, new chain, and a thorough cleaning. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Now I can't wait until the weather breaks and I can do some cruising on the...
