DOLLAR GENERAL WILL DO IN A PINCH... BUT IT WILL "(NEVER)" TAKE THE PLACE OF GOOD... WHOLESOME... FOOD THAT WAS AVAILABLE TO OUR NEIGHBORHOOD WHEN THE SUPERMARKET SAVE- A- LOT AND SHOP N BAG WAS THERE. ALDI MAY BE MORE CONVENIENT ON THE OTHER END OF MARKET STREET FOR SOME... BUT... IT WOULD BE A BLESSING TO HAVE A MARKET CLOSER THAN 6- 7 BLOCKS OR MORE AWAY... TO GET "FRESH FOOD". 🙄 *SAVE- A- LOT MARKET WAS "EVERYTHING"... IT IS STILL MUCH NEEDED!!! 👍 *(IT'S NOT FAIR... THAT OUR ONLY GO- TO CHOICE FOR OUR "AREA" IS ALDI... WE SHOULD HAVE ANOTHER CHOICE)!!! 😡 DOLLAR GENERAL... HAS NO FRESH VEGETABLES... AND ANY MEAT IS FROZEN, LUNCH MEATS OR SAUSAGES. *(SHUT DOLLAR GENERAL DOWN... AND GIVE OUR RESIDENTS... A "(FULL)" SERVICE MARKET... COMPLETE WITH MONEY ORDER SERVICES)!!! 👍 *WHO REALLY WANTS TO SHOP IN A STORE THAT HAS "EMPTY" SHELVES "MOST" OF THE TIME... AND PRODUCTS STANDING "(10 FT.)" HIGH IN THE AISLES??? 😡 GIVE US A MARKET ... THAT'S WHAT WE NEED... OR DO A "TOTAL" "OVERHAUL" OF DOLLAR GENERAL... AND COMBINE FRESH MARKET FOODS AND SERVICES!!! 👍 *OTHERWISE; FOR NOW... WE MAY SHOP THERE... BUT OUR "PATIENCE AND MONEY" FOR THIS POOR EXCUSE OF AN ESTABLISHMENT WILL "(CEASE)"... IN THE "(NEAR)"...

Ok so the 5 stars reviews are employees fake reviews. All the low star reviews are the representation of the store. This store needs to figure something else out instead of criminalizing every customer that walks in. I have shopped at this store since it opened. Never had any issues. Never did anything wrong. I could tell you every person who has worked there and gone from the day it’s open. They have cameras in every isle but I came in there with reusable bag for the first time and the told us we couldn’t come in unless we gave them our bag.

If someone were going to steal they can catch on all of the camera. Being asked to give them our bag ruined every other chance of us coming back here. We gave them the bag but ended up canceling our shopping trip and only buying one thing. Because they made us to feel like we were going to steal.

We felt like we were treated like criminals. And it actually traumatized us. Lock stuff up get more employees but you are doing wrong treating customers who’ve been there since it’s opened like criminals. Haven’t been able to stop thinking about how it felt to be treated that way. Order your stuff online. Don’t bother...

Lines are always too long they wait to the line is so long before they finally ask a cashier to come up and give help. Merchandise that's on the shelves is one price when you get to the cash register it's another price and they don't honor it even though it was 5 curtains on the same rack saying $5 and the cashier said that whatever comes up in the system that's what you pay that being said the sales associates when your stocking aren't properly putting the merchandise in the right place I can see if it was just one there someone could have easily put it back in the wrong place but if it's a whole roll there and it's clearly marked I don't like the Dollar General at 48th and brown because they're never stock well or when they run out of items it takes them such a long time to get the items restocked and I'm not talking about seasonal I'm talking about regular...
