Purchased a belt that was too big...the owner Shani Newton stated she would have an extra hole put in the belt to fit me...while waiting for the belt to be altered I also left a 50% deposit on other items that had to be ordered to be taken on vacation six weeks later. After constant calls, visits and promises of "it will be in next week", NOTHING WAS EVER ORDERED. I repeatedly asked for the paid for belt to be given back only to be asked "which belt was it". When I asked if she sold my belt, she laughed and said "of course not". But still never gave me my belt. When I requested a refund and the return of the belt that was already paid for, AGAIN, I was told that it would finally be in...THE DAY BEFORE I WAS LEAVING FOR VACATION! When I arrived to pick up my items, the owner Shani was not there and when her assistant handed me what was supposed to be my items they were NOT. The belt that was already paid for was NOT MY BELT...even though she tagged it with my name when I gave it back to her for the extra hole! In addition, the assistant had to call the owner because she was told that my balance owed was the FULL AMOUNT even though I already paid 50% DOWN! I patronizing this establishment to support Black Owned Businesses...but to have this happen and be treated like "oh well" is exactly WHY MY BUSINESS WILL BE...
