Cheaper than the co-op, more selection than Aldi or Trader Joes, with plenty of free parking in their garage.
Grocery outlet seems to be a fairly well stocked grocery store. They have lots of great bulk options, their produce seems relatively high quality (not as cheap as Aldi but less expensive than the co op while still giving some local ish and organic options). They have some Mexican basics, for example they have bulk bags of masa (the white kind, no blue masa which is my favorite), but their international selection is otherwise limited.
Aside from food, they have household items including some more random ones that I took pictures of (like flip flops!) as well as herb starts and some hanging baskets of annuals. They have inexpensive planters too. Their pet supplies are pretty extensive, I saw they had grain free options for both cat food and dog food.
There are a few things they don't have that are staples for us but probably specialty items for other people (for a few examples, they don't have individual frozen fruit bags like frozen raspberries, the spice selection is limited, they don't have Mt Hagen instant coffee). They have a lot of options for oils in bulk including huge coconut oil and a selection of different avocado oils, they also have ghee.
Overall I'm excited to have an affordable grocery store with almost all the staples I usually buy in the...
Read moreIâve been shopping here since theyâve opened. I was especially excited to support it since I learned it was black owned. Now Iâm excited to no longer support them. Thereâs been constant price hikes on their items (that are close to expiring or are expired so check the dates on their stuff) and rude staff that wonât move out your way when shopping or wonât even attempt to move the supplies their stacking out your way so you can shop. Some Cashiers wonât speak to you instead stare in your face (even the owners of the store) and then give you an attitude upon ringing you up. Today was my final straw as the cashier was rude to me for no reason, didnât speak to me but stared, rung me up, walked away from her register, came back, and as sheâs getting my receipt she says to me âthe doors are that way you go that wayâ pointing her finger at the exit that everyone can clearly see. I took my receipt and told myself no more. I donât care if this business is black owned or not, I REFUSE to give ignorant people and companies my money. Iâll be shopping at other grocery outlets elsewhere as I always have more pleasant...
Read moreI had my first-time bisit to this Grocery Outlet store on the evening of Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at about 6:30 p.m. The store was indeed clean and well organized as I read about this store in a previous review. The store did have several healthy options in snacks, nuts, juices and the like. But the most outstanding feature of the store was in its personnel. My cashier was Orlando, who was quite the special person, or at least he was to me. His calm demeanor helped me so much. I was getting quite flustered because my card kept getting declined, so I stepped to the side as to not hold up the other customers in the line. Once I get flustered, it seems nothing goes right, but once Orlando cleared the other couple customers in his line, we tried again for me to make my purchase. Orlando was the kindest, most empathetic person as I was surely embarrassed to find myself in the predicament I was in. His great attitude and warm spirit were indeed a memorable trip to the store where I couldn't pay my bill in...
