I would not recommend this salon, specifically jackie. I had gotten my hair dyed here once, but it had faded very bad so i went to get it redone. I asked for the brown parts of my hair to be a little darker and for the blonde to be lighter (as it had faded to a yellow and the brown to my natural hair color). I tried to explain to her in detail what i wanted but she seemed very passive and was not attentive or listening to me. I showed a reference photo that she looked at for less than five seconds. So, she preceded to dye my hair black and white at the top layer, while the bottom layer was a light brown which look completely ridiculous. I was very upset and explained that this was not what i had asked for and she tried to convince me it was. It was completely different from what i had had before. I asked for her to redo it and she said she could dye the rest of it black and tone the white pieces blonde. She did indeed dye the rest of it black, but toned the white pieces gray. At this point i was extremely upset but payed and got it redone at a different salon the next day. Upon further inspection at the other salon, we found that there were many missed spots and spots with color bleeding. I had to put out a extra $75 along with $150 plus tip i had already payed. So, i called and asked for a refund. They told me they could not give me a refund because i got my hair redone, even though the entire reason i needed it redone was because of their bad job. I am sad to say that they have lost my business since me and my family have gone to them for years. Though i am thankful that my hair was able to be fixed and now i am happy with how it looks, this entire situation was a headache to deal with and caused me much...
Read moreMy 82 year old mom made the first morning appointment with the owner Diana because she had other important appointments that same day. Diana left my 82 year old mom sitting in her dye while she went to cut another customers hair. She whispered to my mom the customer and her family were regulars and were not nice to her so she had to” fix “ her hair because she had just cut it earlier that week and they weren’t happy with it. My mom was there so long I went to see what was holding her up. I literally sat there almost an hour then finally told Diana we were there first and had somewhere to go and that she was taking advantage of my mom’s kindness by making her wait unnecessarily. She then rinsed my mom… SOAKING her shirt through her entire back! Putting her BACK in the chair to wait as she continued to finish the customer who came in AFTER my mom! Mom was soaked. I tools Diana and she put her in a chair and used the hair dryer to try to dry her which DID NOT help. Diana felt it was ok because it never happened before and it was the first time she ever did this to my mom. She charged her in advance including the top my mom gave offered her no refund or compensation for her time and when her hair was done…it was the EXACT same gray color it was when my mom went in! She had requested blonde and came out gray as she went in! Diana then later refused my mother service with another stylist blaming me for trying to take care of my mom. To be clear I never yelled, cursed or left my chair. Only spoke in a normal tone requesting my mom be treated fairly and taken before customers who clearly came after her. Do yourselves a favor and find a salon with people who treat everyone with respect and do what...
Read moreShowed a picture of what I wanted and and when my blow dry was started i noticed the color was not what i wanted and I informed the stylist (the OWNER) She said if I wanted it fixed to do it now because she was booked for weeks and wasn't going to schedule me. I told her not to worry about, when i come back in a few months to get my roots done we can try to do it. She insisted she would fix it now and walked off to mix color. I was really put off by her attitude. Her attempt to fix it made it worse and it looked horrible. I went straight to another salon and they were kind enough to take me and used a toner to try to cover up the mess and balance the color. It cost me $100 for that service. I still hate my hair and am going to have to find someone...
