I messaged this place to see if I can get a collateral loan on a Mirror Photobooth I purchased for 9k. I sent them the proof of my receipts and specific size details (6 foot height), as well as the link to the website where I purchased it so they can get more details about it. They agreed and told me to bring it in. I had to rent a vehicle for 2 days and travel to the Poconos to pick it up. After all of this, when I finally arrive they tell me they can't give me the loan because it takes up too much space and it's niche product that will be difficult to sell in their market. I can totally understand that, but why didn't they simply tell me this before having me spend money, traveling, and waist my entire day bringing it to them. I contacted 2 other pawn shops prior to them, gave them the same detailed information and they simply contacted me back telling me the item was too big and they couldn't take it because of the space.

But the biggest issue I have is the owner tells me, he can't give me the loan for it for 2k, but he can lowball me and willing to purchase it from me for a little over 2k, which makes no sense. If your willing to buy it from me for the same amount, why couldn't he just give me the loan, collect his interest and if I don't meet the term of the contract, he gets to keep it...

I wanted to write a review about the great experience I had at the Grant Ave location on 4/16. I was on the lookout for used speakers for my record player. I was previously using a soundbar, but wanted something that would give it a little more "oomph", while not disturbing my neighbors. Like anyone else, I didn't want to spend more than I had to.

I saw a nice pair of Edifier speakers (R1280T) brand new on Amazon for $99, but decided to search Facebook Marketplace before purchasing them. I'm glad I did. I saw the same pair of Edifier speakers (used, with some light scuffs and scratches) for $50 at We Buy Anything. As I stated, I didn't want to spend more than I had to. The speakers sound amazing!

We live in a world where more and more people are supplementing their income by purchasing things cheap and flipping for a profit. No shame in that game. However, there are people like me that could care less about flipping, and just want decent stuff for a low, but fair, price.
