Hibachi Express — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I was excited to learn there was a place nearby that sells sushi and that were a lot of good options at this place. We ordered online and picked up. The food was cold. Like not even hot. Chicken was chewy and cold. Rice was gross and dry. The broccoli smelled weird and was cold and wet. The sushi was good but I only got California roll, I wouldn't have ate it if it was raw sushi. Spent $30 on food to try a few different things with my boyfriend and it was very disappointing. Would not recommend. I was worried the cold chicken might have been left out too long. Hope I don't get sick!

Usually order from here every week for treat night, had a few irritating experiences. But tonight it took little over two hours and three phone calls, met with the excuse they have only one driver for a Friday night, to finally receive my food. Least it was warm and correct. Tasted great as always. But wish they customer service was better.

Don’t use the third party delivering apps to order. Only order though either the phone or though their website. The third party apps prices don’t match. For example on the app for the hibachi side order of rice it’s 5$. On the restaurants website it’s 2.50$. Not sure why. Also the app does not have the FULL menu on it. It’s really a...

Today (February 16th) was the first time ordering from Hibachi Express and I have to say one, that I’ll definitely be ordering from here again, two, I WILL be referring my family members to try and three, my food was so good. I ordered the hibachi salmon with noodles. It was nice and hot when it arrived and didn’t take long to come. The delivery guy was also very, very nice.

Lastly, I got a card with my food saying thank you. I know that they send it to every customer but I thought it was a nice gesture to cross out “customer” and add my name. Very thoughtful. Thank you for a...
