I, as an avid jewelry maven, have been to a myriad of local jewelry shops in the nearby area and have hence mustered up an oasis of knowledge regarding jewel dealers. Many of these spots are hopelessly dilapidated disappointments that really hold almost no serious credibility in the industry. After several trips to many of these scuzzy establishments, and experiences with the ineptitudes of their employees, in despair, I had almost given up on finding the perfect spot. That is until I stumbled upon Gold Heart Direct. I quickly realized that I had accidentally discovered the mecca for some of the nicest pieces in the Greater Philadelphia area. I was flummoxed, smitten and surprised by the celestial ambiance created by the heavenly elegance of the jewels that surrounded me. There, I encountered Ethan, whom I now exclusively deal with, and who consistently radiates an overwhelming joy and eagerness to assist me every time I walk into this palace of a jewelry shop. The glistening shine of his pearly white smile matches the beautiful eye catching sparkle of each and every bracelet/necklace I've ever bought from him following that graceful day I first entered his store. Each time I return, I am always greeted with a firm handshake and an unmistakably sincere willingness to do whatever it is that he needs to do to make me happy. Whenever I decide to sport one of Ethan's masterpieces, I am flooded by a feeling that can only be compared to that of a warm hug on a cold winter morning. My engagement ring was bought here. I went into the store to get it sized, but I had the worst experience ever! I went to the store six times in one day, over a period of three hours. A visible cut was left on the back of the ring when it was sized. Keep in mind that the ring is worth $10,000. I returned to ask that the cut be corrected. The ring was returned with deep scratches throughout, for which I asked that it be repaired. While leaving, I notice a diamond is missing and returned, AGAIN! When the diamond was replaced, the color seemed different. When I asked to have it tested, they stated that they did not have a tester. A different store tested it and, surprise, it was a FAKE DIAMOND!! I returned to the store and I am treated like a liar; unacceptable, disgusting behavior on their part. They tested it after stating they did not have a tester and it ended up being a fake. They replaced the fake diamond. Upon leaving I noticed my ring was no longer white gold, the entire back is yellow gold. When I returned, I requested that it be corrected. Not one apology for all of the issues and false diamonds they placed, no suggestion for how to correct it, just disgusting behavior. The woman employee with dark hair rolled her eyes continuously at me and my eight year old daughter, acting as if I was the problem. Now my perfect ring is ruined and extremely fragile in the back. Not to mention, my fiance overpaid for the ring they sold to us. The diamond has fisheyed inclusions and we paid twice the price it was even worth! DO NOT TRUST these individuals.
