I had my first appointment with this stylist, and unfortunately, it will be my last. My appointment was at 7:30, but I ended up leaving at 3. A significant portion of that time was spent waiting while she engaged in lengthy, unprofessional personal conversations. I was looking for a pixie cut , but the experience felt far from worth the price I paid—almost as much as a car payment over 300!! With no relaxer😒.

Additionally, she charges a gratuity 24 hours after the service, yet she accepted my cash tip right away. Overall, the customer service was lacking, and it felt more like a money grab than an effort to build long-term client relationships. I won’t be returning.

Update 4/22* I believe there may be some misunderstanding. I visited just three weeks ago, and my feedback is based on that experience. It's concerning to see a client's card decline mentioned on social media; it seems inappropriate given that my payment went through successfully. As a first-time client, I felt taken advantage of. I hope you can view my feedback as constructive, aimed at fostering better relationships rather than dwelling on isolated incidents.

My experience at the salon was quite disappointing, especially the time I spent waiting and in the absence of any chemical treatment, 7:30-3ish was egregious. Poor time management stemmed from inappropriate conversations and poor scheduling, both seemed to prioritize your interests over your clients'.

Additionally, I reached out about the extra charge to my card that appeared 24 hours later, as I initially thought it was an error. I also noticed that you accepted my cash tip without mentioning anything about a gratuity. Just because something is permissible doesn’t necessarily mean it should be done.

It has been over 20yrs since I have gone to a salon for any kind of hair care because of the bad/negative/ghetto experiences I have encountered. I let myself go after having COVID, almost losing my mom and losing ALOT of my long beautiful hair, so I just gave up. This Classy Salon came higher recommended by my daughter's bestie. So when Hullemah and JaLisa worked their magic on my daughter's long mane(she was very happy with the results!!), and after speaking with the Ladies who made me feel comfortable and I felt I can trust someone in the hair industry again, I thought may I will give it a try. WELLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me tell you!!!! Not only are these 2 BEAUTIFUL LADIES professional, funny, welcoming, patient, respectful, time management on point(BIG PLUS!!!), classy, and beyond my expectations. Ladies, you are blessed with a gift of not only caring for womens' haircare and their hair journey, but you both made me and my hair feel alive again. I have found myself again and feel like a BEAUTIFUL woman(you couldn't tell me nothing.LOL). So my sincere Thank you to you, Hullemah(gifted hair artist) and JaLisa(gifted hands that will put you to sleep with how she fabulously massaged and worked my scalp..LOL) You absolutely get what you pay for and VERY WORTH IT... My daughter and I will see ya...

I had a wonderful experience at Hstylze Hair Studio with Helema! I was looking for someone experienced with natural hair, and she exceeded my expectations. Helema is very welcoming, knowledgeable, and it’s clear that she genuinely cares about her clients. She is not just about the money. She communicated with me throughout the entire appointment and gave honest, professional advice from the heart. I especially appreciated her perspective on how clients can sometimes make stylists uncomfortable and how she addressed my hair needs with honesty and care.

The salon itself is amazing. It feels like home! It’s clean, beautifully decorated, smells great, and there’s plenty of parking. I also love that Hstylze is well-known in their plaza; even the staff outside were friendly and helpful.

It’s hard to find someone who checks all the boxes when it comes to hair care, and Helema definitely does. I would highly recommend Hstylze to anyone looking for quality, honest, and heartfelt service!
