The shop and atmosphere is really nice, inviting, and the ladies are nice. My shampoo girl did an amazing job! So relaxing. The service I requested was a partial sew in, it was nice but a bit tight. Quoted online booking says it’s $210, I also got a section of my leave out colored with a rinse $60. During the service, I was never told my service changed, the few hours I was there we discussed many things but not once was I told my service changed. To me this is poor customer service at its finest. Keep the customer informed so Im aware. My service is complete, I have a good section of my hair out so I thought nothing of it. I got to the register to pay, she tells me $410, I say for what? I requested a partial sew in. I’m told, well actually you got a full sew in… expecting to pay $270 and told I owe $410 a whole $140 up charge without informing me is robbery. I felt bad because I didn’t tip my shampoo girl but I’m sure her boss can give her some of the $140 she got. They need to hire a more experienced braider. I paid $150 for large knotless braids and the braider Shanay gave me jumbo knotless with sloppy parts, I had 13 braids in my head. I came back the next day to have her fix it and specifically told her to add 6-7 more braids, AT LEAST! Got home and realized she did me wrong AGAIN! She only added 3 more braids to my head after I specifically told her to add more than 1 extra row. She smelled like marijuana and she gave off “lazy braider” who is doing the bare minimum to hurry up and get you out of her chair. She seemed like a nice little girl and I tried to work with her but at the end of the day people want what they PAY FOR!!!! She should also be more specific on the booking site about the details of her styles and add pictures online so people know exactly what to expect. I was very pleased with the professionalism's of the shop but very displeased for the big chop haircut and the fact that I was quoted 3 different prices I was told the shop prices are done on a la carte I was referred by someone but Im not referring anyone .after she cut my hair off she stated I got the right one she is scissors happy she mentions that to the owner aft the comment on how low it was and I did say less it better but the cut looks a mess not cool because ladies you know our hair is our crown so my crown is broke so now I’m going somewhere else to fix the broken crown more money add hair to “style “ and then...
