I have been familiar with this florist since at least back when I was in high school 30+ years ago and we used them for flowers for my proms. It had been many years since I personally needed their services but as I was about to get married I thought it would be great to support an African American owned business for my special day. Unfortunately, my experience from the very beginning really was not that great, there were miscommunication issues as well as issues with the quality of the flowers I received on my wedding day. The only good things I can say are that Ms. Paulette is very personable, as was Tony, the person who delivered my flowers, and that the delivery of my flowers on my wedding day was early (approximately 8am vs noon as scheduled, but seeing the flowers, I think they ended up delivering the flowers early because they were already looking sorry and were only going to look worse as more time passed so there was no point in waiting until noon to deliver them as planned). The flowers that I received, particularly the roses in my bridal bouquet and those in the table centerpieces we ordered, were wilted on the outside and the quality of the flowers supplied overall for my special day really just was not at all what I expected especially for what I paid. It was really a huge disappointment and I was sorry I didn't follow my gut when we had miscommunication issues early on, so lesson learned for me. Based on this experience, unfortunately I will have to look elsewhere going forward for any floral needs I have because if on a wedding day I received that quality I have no idea what I would get for an everyday occasion. Frankly, I don't even know how they let those flowers I received leave their shop.

This Florist was recommended to me by a funeral home to place an order. Little did I know when I receive the referral, this was a florist in my neighborhood. I communicated with Miss Paulette (who was amazing), and I sent her a picture of what was wanted. With Miss Paulette's professionalism, perfection, and great eye, she caught an error in what I sent her. Needless to say, the arrangement that was ordered was beyond beautiful (as you can see in the attached picture), and perfectly priced. This will be my go to Florist for everything, and you should make it yours too :-).

Picked up a prom bouquet and boutonnière today. Spent $100 for wilted roses. Ended up finding another florist last minute and had them make a corsage and boutonnière. I felt like my order was a simple one that an experienced florist shouldn’t have an issue with. The bouquet was small for $75 and the boutonnière was one rose and 2 leaves for $20. No baby’s breath or anything to make it special. Should have went to Trader Joe’s and bought flowers to make one myself.

Dont do it!!! Unprofessional!!! Called to put in an order the first thing this lady says you can't do that over the phone...you just can't do that over the phone. Uhm...excuse Ms. How would I have known that since its my first time contacting your business...of course I didn't say that but I was thinking it...after repeating can't do that over the phone she than says hold on. So I hold, another lady got on the phone.... Of course I dont knw either one of their names cause they didn't bother to introduce themselves or to knw who they were on the phone with but that's OK cause I won't be investing money there. So I told her when my wedding date is she says we're gonna be close that day...no no no we can't do that day...well...uhm...are there other options you can provide to your costumers especially the new ones that potentially help promote your business but its okay. Business opportunity missed on their end. If I were you? I wouldnt go there. Too unprofessional for...

Very disappointed 😞!!!!!!! What I received looked nothing like what I ordered. I ordered the Emerald Garden Basket with a light grey bow. The measurements based on the description: 17-1/4" high & 17-1/2" wide. The pictured item didn't include flowers. When I arrived for the funeral, I contacted Beale Florist, located @ 7220 Ogontz Ave, to verify my purchase was delivered. The gentleman informed me "the item was in fact delivered". I informed the person that "no flowers were ordered to be included & the bow should have been light grey". I was informed "the inclusion of flowers was something that They do". The basket I received was 11-1/2" high & 8" wide, included several pink carnations, what looks like baby's breath & a big pink bow. I request a partial refund because I didn't receive what...
