Saks OFF 5TH — Local services in Philadelphia

i used to love this store, but got completely disappointed during my last visit. First, I asked a sales person to look up a different size for me ( I know, you can order it to be shipped from a different store,) the girl, who, by the way was wearing headphones while working (!) said, that everything is out, nothing can be ordered. I asked another lady, who was nice enough to help me out. Another thing, that happened the same night was beyond everything. I was shopping with my friend and it was the first store on our shopping route, so after picking a lot of clothes, that would be very inconvenient to carry through out the mall, we left them on hold. We came back in an hour and one of the items was gone! I was devastated, because I was going to wear this dress on a very special occasion next night (the reason why I went shopping.) I and my friend both were sure that I gave the dress to the guy on customer service, who, was trying to convince us, that everything IS there. besides that, they were kind of rude to us and tried to blame me for NOT GIVING the dress to them. Such a shame, I love the company and was a customer of this particular location. After this, neither I, nor my friend, will never shop there again....

I'm still curious if this business will survive the job shortages and economic downturn. With so many turning to online shopping I don't think they have competitive prices here. Sure the merchandise looks nice. But who in their right mind wants to pay a surcharge just to buy from this place of business.

I'd say it still has a few people inside, but it's definitely not the same as it was previously. I'm not just talking about pre-Covid either.

It's a roomy store with plenty of space to shop around. But this definitely isn't my type of store. Especially when you move you have to decide if I want to lug these items anymore.

Hello , I purchased a garbage item that is not worth the money at all from this store. It’s been only 2 days since my purchase and I am extremely dissatisfied with this item that I bought, it’s $15 here in this store but you could buy a better quality item from target for $5. I came to return the item and the management was terrible, they said I could only get my money back if I sell it to someone. They were not helpful at all and didnt even try to help. I want to return this item, I do not want it at all, I am extremely upset and I want my money back. I asked for at least an exchange , or for a gift card, and they flat out said no.
