7th Street Plaza — Local services in Phoenix

The business I frequent at that plaza is Marielle's water well, the water store. This is the nicest water store I have ever experienced. As far as the quality of the water, and the environment of the store itself. This woman is constantly cleaning the store, and she goes in on her days off to take care of tasks and cleaning that need to be done. She diffuses essential oils and has beautiful music playing, the environment is just completely soothing and uplifting at the same time. It's a breath of fresh air while you're getting some high quality fresh water. She has alkalized water as well as the regular purified/filtered water. Her water tastes great, she definitely keeps up on the maintenance of her system. Have been going for a while and will continue to go as long as she's in operation. I just want to add that her water really is so delicious, it tastes better than water I've ever gotten from any other water store, and most certainly better than anything that you can get in the grocery store, the stuff in the gallons anyway. The stuff in the smaller bottles, there are some good tasting ones, but you are paying top dollar for a small amount of water. And her water is definitely way better than anything that you'd find in a grocery store in a gallon, that water usually tastes like plastic, or at least it tastes quite bland. I only buy it occasionally because nowadays some of the stores have switched to BPA free container, so I get them so I can refill them at this wonderful...

Heard the new owner is kicking out all the places and only will allow Taiwanese to lease. He's bold enough to basically state his plan on the plaza website. That is racial discrimination and illegal. Several businesses have to move locations now when they have been there for years. I talked with a few businesses at this location who all said the owner will not sign new leases and wants them all gone. From what I hear he's also being racist to the Chinese food place, since the owner is Taiwanese, you can guess why.

My only hope is that he gets good food and places we actually can benefit from, the surrounding community is not Taiwanese. This owner owns several properties and has been doing this for his personal agenda. I just don't understand how what he is doing is legal, it's not. But he will allow a Starbucks because he knows it's good for his property, otherwise he wouldn't allow it because it's not a Taiwanese...

Assigned seating! I miss the days when you could go to the movies and randomly choose your seat while in the theater. The staff cleaning seem to have no customer service skills by insisting that they clean up where you may be standing instead of waiting a few moments for you to move. The ticket customer service is turning into more of a yes man type of customer service with no real human qualities, robots maybe a welcomed replacement. The consession stand is either too loud or the yound staff have a huge lacking in being able to hear. I choose to be a customer at Harkins instead of AMC per all of the changes, being over priced and not family friendly any longer along with half of the theater no longer being used.
