Itās me again I went to Curacao on Tuesday, July 1 I put in an order talk to customer service received a ticket number so that I may replace my mattress because the one that I bought and paid for originally was a piece of crap. I took all the steps and did what I was supposed to do. Talk to customer service several times I was told to go into the store. And pick out a mattress so that it can be replaced well I did that today I was presented with a $700 mattress and said they have one in a twin extra large, but I would have to pay the difference. How was it that I was sold a defective product and then have to turn around and give you guys more money. This is unbelievable. I never thought I would be going through this. They say put in a work ticket everything will get taken care of at least thatās what I was told every time I called they said going to the store give the manager your ticket number. Theyāll help me find a mattress so I can get a replacement so I can be delivered and the old one be picked up. No this is not the case when I went in and talk to a manager today They want me to Pay extra money for something I already purchased because they sold me their defective mattress this transpired on July 1, 2025 at 11:45 this afternoon
05-25-2025 I was one of the second people there at this location to purchase the king split bundle for $399. I stood in line to order the product. I was the second one in line. My service person was Jacqueline Maldonado..There was one customer ahead of me , but she normally pulled two other customers before me and helped them and kept asking me to wait. I asked why I was here next never got an answer, but hold on one second made my purchase told my furniture will be delivered the next day and I will get a phone call or a text never got either so Monday I went into the store. To find out where my furniture was, and I was told it not in stock they donāt have any available and donāt know when it will be available so now my understanding is clear I was sold the product that wasnāt even in stock so I spoke to the manager and she ended up switching things out to give me mattresses so I can have my order completed and everything was in the store that I can receive it, but because she switched out the order or change the order I needed to get a refund instead of doing an in-store credit. I had to get a refund back to my credit card wait a full 24 hours where I had to go back into the store 40 minutes away from my home to purchase all over again, which was Wednesday yesterday I made the Purchase and was told that my items will be delivered today I have called until Iām blue in the face. I had to have explained until Iām blue in the face. I donāt understand why I still donāt have my product and when I call today and spoke to two customer service representative that were great and a supervisor on the phone. They said they will put a request in for someone to call me back within 72 hours for me to receive my furniture after paying the amount I had to pay for delivery and selling me something that wasnāt even in stock. Iām still waiting on furniture. Iām not understanding. I have left over five messages for someone to return a call. I even reached out to escalations@ icuracao.com Sunday evening and received to return text stating someone will get to me well today is Thursday. No one has called no one answers, phones, managers, and supervisors donāt get on the phone except one supervisor and his name was Rodrigo or Gabrielle. That was the supervisor. I went into the store and go to the credit department to activate my account. As soon as I give the lady my Id she tells me that my application was denied. I said how and why is that. She said I have something on my credit report. I'm like what I have nothing on my credit which is why i'm even applying for credit with you in the first place. She tells me to call experian and transunion to find out. I leave and realize I gave her the wrong ID. I have my Maiden Name on my out of state ID. SO not only didn't my last name not match but my ID number didn't so I called and ask how they looked me up and if they can tell me my address. The lady on the phone ask me for the ID # i gave them. I gave her it and she told me there was nothing under it. I said exactly. How am I denied if they don't have any of my information to see??? I never gave them my social or anything. I'm the last person to yell discrimination but it was so blatant and when I call to speak I the manager I got a guy named Geremo then i called again and there isnt a manager there by that name. i called back spoke to Miguel he told me there was nothing he could do and he had customer and hung up in my face.... I only had one hang up that took the last 2 stars from this store, while I was doing my full walk thru seein what the store had to offer an employee approached me letting me know that if I wanted I could take my items straight to an employee and check out with my items from that section and with out cause proceeded to tell me that it looked like I have something in my pockets that belonged to the store. I don't know how that would make you feel but I HATE being accused of stealing especially when I haven't even picked anything up. Normally I go off and just empty my pockets and demand the manager so on and so on but I actually came to this store for something specific and just showed the employee that my cellphone power cord and power bank which where the "bulge" in my pocket did in fact belong to me and not the store and I accepted the fake apology from the employee and finished my shopping much quicker than I wanted and just left the store.
