Combo Express — Restaurant in Phoenix

Well as I take my daughter to her therapy appointment every Tuesdays and Wednesdays evening I tend to go to the Desert Sky mall since is near by, her appointment takes 2 hrs, so I started eating my dinner from different places there on the food court. So I decided to eat #19 two gorditas at combo express, food is good and atmosphere is great but the service was awful 👎🏼 first the cashier was talking to this guy that I’m assuming she knew didn’t ask me anything she just kept talking to him, then when I got my food the cook was the one who gave it to me since the cashier was talking and laughing with another guy… I asked for salsa no response asked for lemons and nothing since she was very occupied giggling, thennn to top it off I asked for a bigger plate for my two gorditas and the cook reply by saying “isn’t this plate big enough “? This place is located in the desert sky mall but it is the most delicious flavorful Mexican restaurant ever. I don’t even come here to shop I only come to eat and leave. I always get the taco plate with carne asada and two extra tacos and my partner gets the taco plate with pastor tacos and two extra tacos. The carne is flavorful I love that they give a jalapeño with the order because man it’s so delicious to munch on after a bite of the tacos, the red salsa is spicy and delicious I love their rice and beans too! Every time I try other Mexican restaurants I regret it because this place is just too good! Me and my family come here about once a week because I’m always craving them!...

So I get there at 9am because that’s the time it’s says they open on google and the rude old lady (not the cook) at the register doesn’t want to give me an employee discount for working at the mall.She eventually does but with an attitude. Then I ask for spoons for the salsa and she starts nagging about that they open at 10 so I shouldnt expect anything, when it clearly says 9am online. I hope that lady stops with the attitude and the gossiping. She should show some customer service specially to other mall employees. She’s the reason for the one star review other than her, the food and the rest of the people...
